im not sure when i should put my babies into flower?

Im about 67 days from when i planted these seeds and originally were growing them outside and had a slow start. Ive been growing them inside for maybe 2 weeks now, and everything has been great. However ik plants stretch when moving into flower, could anyone estimate when i could maybe put these into flower? They dont seem to be as tall as they should be although they are growing so i dont think they are stunted by anymeans.

what was your temp outside cause this should be much bigger if you vegged it for 67 days

When the plants are put into flower they will typically double or triple in size from the stretch in flower. You can start to flower your plants from any point past sexual maturity, it's completely up to the grower. Most people will decide based on estimated space available.

Forgive my rudimentary drawing but it helps explain it easier I think.

TVS = Total Vertical Space
ES = Equipment Space
MCS = Minimum Canopy Space
CPS = Current Plant Size
PS = Pot Size (height)
TAS = Total Available Space
TGS = Total Grow Space
GS = Grow Space (available)

Some of the labels might not even be relevant but I threw down everything as I was trying to think it out as I drew.

Flip when CPSx2 or CPSx3 = TGS
Knowing how much the strain you are growing is going to stretch is going to help out here.

Do you know what strain they are? If you do then you can research some info on the strain and that will help you decide when to put them in to flower. As a rough guide most strains will at least double in size with some Sativa and Sativa dominant hybrids tripling their height or more.

Holy Tuna Fish Batman, 67 days, man, those poor babies look like they didn't get a whole lot of light... and that's all I will say as others have given you some very good advice, but I do wish you the best of luck finishing those babies out!

Pretty sure either birthday cake or wedding cake my memories a bit off lmfao

Ik thats whats crazy they were outside pretty much since the beginning of june.

Nice drawing very helpful, ik I probably sound dumb but i only started giving them nutes (floragro) when they came inside. outside i used basic miracle gro granules that had small amounts of nitrogen. Is it possible so long with out many nutes stopped it from growing larger?

Lol, if you knew which breeder as well that would help as there are quite a few different variations, but for the most part both Birthday and Wedding Cake are normally Indica dominant hybrids so I'd be expecting your ladies to double their height'ish, which is how I would look at it if I was to grow something similar. I grow indica dominant hybrids myself and when I start a new strain I normally allow enough headroom for my ladies to double or even tripple in height until I've grown them out and know what their growth patterns are like.
