You're going to have to cite the part about many homeless being red state refugees otherwise I'm calling bullshit.

Or it could be that a right wing coup happened in Ukraine 2014 where USA weaponized nazi/ultraright militias that have been trying to wipe out Russian speakers in Donbass (who didn't like the coup) with the blessing of the west trying to poke the bear. And now the bear is destroying Ukraine using the very money west is supplying (gas price up ruble up). The only place Ukraine is winning the war is in the media

Where else do they come from, they have no support in their states and are in the red state cities, blue states with social programs are dumping grounds for fascist red states with none. Do you own research, but the mentally ill in rural America have little healthcare, shit even regular health care is hard to come by in many places and idiotic covid and anti mask/vaxx propaganda just about wiped out many rural hospitals.

They have had several elections since then, after Paul Manafort left the country and started managing the Trump campaign. All rejected the pro Russian candidates, even among the ethnic Russians, Ukrain is a multicultural country and that includes Russians and it has become a home for many looking to escape Putin, including Zelenskiy himself who moved back home from Moscow.

The bottom line is a prosperous western looking liberal democratic Ukraine and perhaps Belarus with all those cultural, linguistic and family ties would make it too difficult to carry on with the bullshit the average Russian puts up with. 80% of Russians live close to these countries and their TV and radio broadcasts in Russian and there will be many more of them with directed broadcasts deep into Russia. It will quickly create an intolerable situation for an imperialistic dictator like Putin. With a free press or even no political control over state media and a native Russian speaker and slick PR operator like Zelenskiy would have destroyed Putin in his own back yard on TV by now over this war.
