Keep 'em under the fluoros until they about 4-5 days old. Then use the MH lite, no closer than 3 ft.

Really just one being that you can start to finish under most lights

Thx...but sickstoner is right as well...you can use the MH right now, i just dont feel the need to use the 1000W system all the time...i'd rather save a few $$ and use it elsewhere.

maybe there are different types out there i just know the one i have is supposed to run a lower hps bulb , i guess cause it takes longer to warm up ? im not 100% sure , the guy i got it from said not to run a 400w hps , and it came with the 400w mh and the 360 hps , i would take a pic for you but it bed time for my girls right now and the bulb packages are in there with them .

plus i got mine for 75.00 used one cycle couldnt beat that deal for a ballast, cords, hood, and two lights.

i used them first for about a week or two then added the mh and have used them all the way from veg and into flower started from seed , they are on day 14 of 12/12 now had 60 days veg. about 30" tall and 2' around now and bud sites everywere

i got under 500.00 into this whole grow sofar im on a budget but very happy with the results sofar as well i hate it when you think of something after u hit reply !!
