I'm switching to organic. Need some opinions

So I have been growing for like 1. 5yrs now and have been using chemical nutes. I now care more about quality vs quantity and am going to switch to organic. Living in Canada I have a few options that are probably different then in the states. One of those options would be the blue sky organics line. But I was thinking of using gaia green 4-4-4 and there bloom then I can add all the other amendments. I need. I'm starting my research here and have already learned a ton but was hoping for your input. Those two lines are kinda the only ones I can find but I have to keep looking and researching
 
He's got a good method. But he doesn't do the no till method. With no till you won't have to buy more soil. You don't break it up, just harvest and make a small hole for a new cutting and continue the cycle.

You can turn any decent organic soil into a no-till living soil. I used my old FFOF as a base, but added a bunch of other stuff. Here's a couple pics from last week at day 35.

Where are you located I'd suggest setting up a worm farm as a first step to organics have you tried asking local grow shops if they can source ammendments for you?

They have many options for amendments I believe. They have super soil, worm castings, lots of gaia green and blue sky products. It's also 10 minutes from my house. I want to look into a worm farm but am worried as the only place I have would get very hot. I have had a wrm farm before years ago in new Brunswick but totally different climate to the sun I get in Alberta.

No expert here, but I've had a worm bin in my closet for the past couple years. No smell or bug problem whatsoever. Cost is minimal, just a few totes with some holes drilled in it and then just the price for some worms and peat/coco coir/compost as a media and its good to go pretty much.

I have only done a few grows, first one using bottled nutes and the other two I used ROLS. The two done in homemade soil with the castings from my bin, went pretty flawlessly with almost no attention other than watering. I attribute it to the quality ewc I had at hand. I still use the same soil growing other things right now with ease. Just throwing this out there as I think your compost input is the heart and soul of your soil moving forward, so a few bucks and a little time could make the difference having your own worm bin. Again no expert, just throwing out there my amateur experiences so far with organic soils.
