Ok so you're trying to say its no different than the more expensive lights using cree or bridgelux cobs but you ignore the fact that your cob is clearly blurple tinted while the "high priced US" stuff is pure white light.
Yes it will grow weed, yes the weed will get you high, but you can't compare something if you aren't even using the same kelvin temperature and certainly can't compare something that isn't even close to the same spectrum.
The high cost US built cob leds cost a lot upfront, but its for those that thing long term. Heck even one harvest or startup you avoid at least most of the AC cost to cool an hid. Then you start adding the fact that the COBs produce light more efficiently than an HID so you will be using less power to get the same results and still saving on cooling and additional fans.
The biggest problem I have is that everyone that tries these comparisons goes in looking for the COBs to produce more end product with less power and thats not the point. They will produce roughly the same amount using less power, but all the hid people refuse to look at it that way. They also ignore changing bulbs, reflectors every year, ac and additional fans needed to cool hid when they factor cost. Yes you can get your hid sustem cheaper up front, but in 5 years you will have spent more in power, bulbs and reflectors while the cobs haven't had to change anything while running cooler and more efficiently.
