I think the move here is to just walk back in wearing a Hawaiian shirt and a Lei and just start talking about how great your vacation was.

Well, I just decided to go back to work like nothing ever happened and nobody seemed to miss me. The next morning, I saw my boss and he was like, "hey, how was last night?". I said "the usual" and left. I wonder if I can not show up and still get a paycheck. I may have to test it out a few days at a time. This could be alright.
