Improving genetics reggie.

how would one go about imotoring the genetics of a plant with bad genetics?

Cross it with a well known strain. Other than that, you can't make Reggie turn to loud, that I know of.

Like Joe said u cant polish a turd.If all u have access to is reggie,then all u can do is try to treat it like u was growing some loud but u wont have that loud kick.If u do the best u can growing & maintaining the plant it may turn out a little better than what u started with.u must consider that since ur reggie was seeded it could be from pollination from a male or self pollinated itself "hermie".f ur going this road u need to plant as many of those seeds as u can & try to pick the best pheno from ur plants..basically ur breeding...honestly ur better off getting some quality beans from gorilla or attitude..both are reputable suppliers.

they bred all these dope strains from "reggie"
it'll take you like a decade of pheno hunting and backcrossing

If you spent the next several years carefully selecting and breeding the "top dog" males and females, after many generations you would eventually "evolve" the strain, but it would require a lot of breeding.

Will it get better with every generation. And do you do anything specific each cycle to help it improve the levels or maximum harvest ability or stuff like that or do you just grow it great each time and just hope for the best?

with u only working with reggie itself u will spend a lot of time & money trying to isolate each pheno.U must keep detailed notes on EACH plant so u know which plant is which & for the data to be valid ur conditions for each plant must be near identical to have accurate results.Space requirements must be considered as well.Just growing 1-10 plants wont get the results that ur looking for,breeders have hundreds & thousands of plants to isolate the desired traits for each strain they cultivate.Its a noble quest however futile.You would really be better off ordering some quality seeds from a supplier that has professional breeders that has spent in many cases many thousands of dollars to get a stablized strain with very predictable results.Your endeaver over the long run will cost u so much more than just ordering some really killer seeds & growing yourself some magical medicine that has had all the leg work done for you.

I must have got lucky my first grow but i grew out some seeds out of some swag. Threw them in the veggie garden and I was super stoked with what I came out with. That grow lit a fire under my ass to move indoors. Once i invested that much money building a room, lights, etc I felt i should cover my ass and order some seeds and I haven't grown any bag seeds out since. Genetics is a definite plus, but knowing how to keep them happy, healthy, pollen free, and waiting till they are done will take u a long way.

There's nothing you do, it's just eugenics. You kill off the weak and breeding only the stronfest and best. After many generations it will improve the overall quality of the pheno and also slowly adapt to your specific grow environment. It's evolution.
