when anthropologists of the time are looking back at your generation (I say your because of the age range of the site) what would embarrass you the most.

For me it's...

Jerry Springer
Farmville
Reality shows

Tons of other shit. What about you?

politics,laws,wars etc.
Those things will never die or fade away. However much we want them to. You can say they wont with an attitude like mine, you may be right. It's just the way things are. Religion is the ultimate form of corrupt laws and politics. Religion has spawned the greatest war ever concocted. Start with religion and you might get somewhere. ;)

reality shows. (especially jersey shores... i seriously cant believe they actually have a veiwing audience)

dependence on gps to get from one side of the town you grew up in to the other. (seriously... pull your head out of your ass and look where your going... if lewis and clark could get from st louis to seattle, before they were even built, without a map, i think you can find that new starbux)

interest based financing/credit. (whats that, i only make 40k a year but you will finance me for a 750k home... sure!)

network news. ( i could seriously give a rats ass about what brangelina did last week, giving the current state of affairs of the world.. thank god for bbc, npr, and other non mainstream network news sources)

Shock and Awe. ( i think the only people in shock and awe will be my grandkids... when they get the bill)

Offshore outsourcing (ok, here's a great idea... unemployment is @ a record high, so lets take all our manufacturing, and move it to 3rd world countries where skilled labor is a pipedream @ best and most people think ISO is some type of relief agency... keep that up for much longer and there wont be any money to buy those fabulous gadgets, because it will all be in mexico, china, taiwan, etc etc)

i could really go on for years about things like this, lmao... its funny but not funny...

Garbage. the sheer waste our society produces. trowing away hundreds of tons of food, while other people starve. watering or lawns for grass that we cut early, while other people drink their own shit. that's embarrassing to me.

yeah yeah.... watering lawns... wtf people!!

all you hear about in the environmental news is about how were running out of water... so, lets dump a cpl hundred gallons an hour on our lawns, just for shits and giggles.... hell take pictures of our nice green lawns and send them to africa and the middle east while we're at it lmao

Water is an infinitely renewable resource. I'm more worried about nuclear power even more then fossil fuels in that respect.

The entire financial system. It's unsustainable so I have no doubt a thousand years from now they will look back and go "WTF? Seriously, people thought you could continuously finance and just create wealth out of thin air? Did these people not realize that buying a house, refinancing and 'cashing out' will give you more cash, but it was completely fabricated out of thin air? Very real time and resources had to go into building their tvs, and boats, and gadgets...and they got more and more without actually adding to the production?"

I will be automatically lumped into that pile of jack asses.

Meh skinny jeans will be one of those fads that comes and goes. Like bell bottoms. As long as they do some honest work to pay for their skinny jeans they aren't contributing to the destruction of society and it will be nothing more than a curious fad that happened. In fact it won't even be long lasting enough for people to care about in 1,000 years. Do you know of any ridiculous apparel customs from 1,000 years ago that was only worn by a relatively small fraction of the population for less than a single generation? No, they forgot about that shit 995 years ago.

Black people used to do their best to fit in to the white norm. Just like the skinny jeans themselves, it's a cultural fad that's catching on again. Oh joy. :)

Were going to expeirence a end of this world soon.
A new nation is going to rise.
Then their going to look at our ruins that we have,
and their going to study us like we study the mayans or cavemen.
And their going to make presumtions and most likely their going to be wrong.
Like were mostly wrong about everything else we think.

Point is,
were just going in cycles.
Over and Over and Over..

Their going to look at the Washington monument(if it still stands),
and are going to be like..
THESE ANCIENT PEOPLE MIGHT HAVE USED THIS TO CONNECT WITH THE OUTTER UNIVERSE..
yadda yadda yadda.
You know what I mean?
My answer.
Lol. :D
