In Bloom- no not Nirvana

thought id post up a bloom journal. yes their are a 1000 of them. well now their is 1001.

2 Durbans that went into bloom 13 days ago. tomorrow will be 2 weeks under my 400w CMH Philips bulb at 12/12. using Dyna Gro Bloom and a bit of foliage pro for a sunday feeding, with 1 or 2 mid week waterings. been using a modified version of Riddleme's Making it Rain. Girls are taking a gallon each on Weds, and then again on friday evening i can usually give them another 1/2 to 3/4 gallon of water. then sunday they get fed, also using a gallon each. they are THIRSTY Girls.

anyways, here are a few inbloom pics. i ll keep posting up a couple pics every weekend thruout the bloom of all the girls that go thru.

couple pics. kinda amazing what 2 days can do. Stretch seems to be slowing down. they ve only went up a 1/2sh inch in the last 3/4 days.

well it finially happened. the younger cut, has inched past the older cut by 2 or 3 inches now. they are about 4 or 5 days apart cut wise.

but the oldest girl was closest to the bulb socket so did get a bit warm, which layed down the top most 1/2 inch of hairs yesterday. So i raised the light back up a couple inches, and this am, almost all the hairs were standing back up. but in doing so, i think the other girl had more relaxing time to grow, thus made it past a bit. I ll swapped them around today, so they are rotated and in opposite sides of the room tonight for more even lighting.

i head out for a few weeks, so no updates till i get back. got a baby setter to come take care fo the girls while im away, but they dont do photography.

wow, what a break. was OOT for work for a few weeks, came home to some fatter girls.
this saturday coming (5-2, they ll be 7 weeks into bloom. id estimate 3 to 5 more weeks give or take a few days.

girls have doubled, maybe nearly tripled in diameter in the last 16 days. they were so heavy, the tops were leaning into the walls. if my room was any bigger, they would of fell over. no worries. got them staked for the moment, and tomorrow im going to tie the bratches up to the main stalk/support rod to help support their weight.

Gettin frosty! Looks like you've got it figured out. Sativas can be a pain when achieving that 10-12 week ripening period, but are well worth the wait. Nothing like some spicy, hazy private reserve chronic that smokes unlike everything the commercial pot industry favors (i.e. bushy, fast-growing, large-yielding indicas)

well considering this is my first ever attempt at a grow, i leave my current apparent success to some of the more grounded members from here and a few other sites. i read read read like the dickens for the 1st 3 months before i even started looking at equipment to buy.

i suggest becomming a sponge when starting something new to you. thats just how i roll, lol well besides with rolling papers. lmao.


but im quite happy with the current results. i followed a simple reason of, how can i replicate MN (mother nature) inside, and make the most use out of her natural abilities. thus, members like Uncle Ben, RiddleMe, Luni Cowboy Logic, Bricktop, ect rose to the top of some of the most intelligent and grounded growers here impo. Their whole growing experiences are nearly in line with my thoughts and theroys of how growing Cannabis would go down. and so far, my results seem to be the biggest benefactor of the KISS and trying to mimic MN as best as i can in an indoor controlled enviroment.

Thursday evening, i had to stake the main stalks up as they had grown so large in my 2 plus week absence, they had to use the walls to keep them barely upright. so i put in a stake in each pot to upright the main stalks. then i used yarn to gently pull up all the lower branches, as many of them were also so heavy, they were drooped to the ground, and actaully pointing to the floor as their stems couldnt support the end flower weights. now they are in an upright position and most all the stems and largest budsites are back facing upwards, basking in the CMHs 400w and UVB goodness.

not much more growth persay as size goes, but the girls have been packing on the pounds and getting D E N S E. budz are really firm now.
will be 8 weeks on Sat. pics are from earlier today.

i expect about 2 or maybe 3 weeks more give or take a few days maybe.

while they do look frosty, the trichs are actually still quite clear, as are the heads. only a few are starting to cloud up. i have to pick up a good Loop tomorrow. looked thru a 3x one today, and was still a bit hard to see them that well.

just posted up a pic of it in the sprout thread. also the top pic in front is the 1st cut i took from it. been in bloom for 2 weeks also on saturday.

ty, im very pleased with it. getting hard to resist cutting it down. but i did take 2 low low arms last week (week 6) and took a few other Low sites last night (week eight to get some comparrison of where its at. was good at week 6, but you could tell it was pre mature yet.
got the fresh budz drying up. hopeing to get a test taste this weekend maybe.

well. Girls got flooded Saturday Am before the light. today was 3 days of 12/12 lighting in the flood.

So Girl number 2 (the largest) got cut fan leaf trimmed and hung, while girl number 2, got bagged (darkness) and sat to the side for 2 more days, then it ll get hung and de-fanned for 5 days.

after 5 days or so, of girl 2 that was cut tonight, she ll be clipped off, trimmed up and weighed and jarred.

girl one is in the can, or jars as it is. girl 2 is hanging after 2 added days of drowning, and full dard as well.

i ll end this perticular section of my in bloom journal with a note to see my 1st grow journal to see the finished results of my first 2 girls.
