Hi Folks,
I am in need of some tips/pointers/help. This year is going to be my first year growing, i am thinking of trying 10-15plants and seeing what happens. I am making a simple homemade greenhouse in a mildly marshy area behind my house that is widely open to the sun. Im from central-ish ontario, slightly north of georgian bay so the temperatures can range quite drastically. i have a couple questions that i have been seeking answers, so any help is greatly appreciated- what is the best seed that i should buy?... or should i try different types even in the greenhouse together. (And should i buy feminized seeds, or will i be able to detect the males even if i only check out the plants once a week) - once a week because i am relying on moisture from the marsh to water the plants. also, on the topic of water, i was wondering the strain of plant in relation to how much water is needed for it and what would be best- i have been hearing lots about white widow, fast pine and auto flowering plants. My mind is boggled with so much selection! please help me out

if you've never grown before you should expect to fuck up. keep that in mind when pickicking a strain. also how big is your green house going to be. outdoor plants can grow massive so u should keep that in mind too. if i were u i would grow alot of different strains; a kush strain, a diesel, a cheese, a skunk, a purple strain, etc.... just make sure youre going to have enough room. dont cram plants into the room. check the strain reviews by the seed banks. the single seed centre is good.. and most o.g. strains are good. auto flowering plants yield less and are less potent but they are a lot more durable. i would only recomend those to someone who was just fucking around but with a green house... hell no. dont sell your self short. look into pineapple chunk, arjans ultra haze #1 and NYPD too.. as far as temp goes u really can use space heaters if it gets bad enough but if im not mistaken green houses stay alot warmer than there suroundings but dont quote me on that. i seriously doubt marsh moisture will be enough to substain the plants and u r going to have to water any strain u get. bigger plants need more but they yeild more as well. i hope your not planing on planting directly in the ground your survival rate could crash.... buy female seeds. that way u know what your getting i would rather spend the extra money and know that i have all girls than to hope and pray. males arent smokeable and they degrade the quality of bud that comes off of females. also you need to prepare to battle bugs. and cannabis is very very sensitive to pesticides. neem oil knocks out a lot of shit with out hurting the girls too much. lady bugs come in handy too.. anything else
