Experiment: Take a frosty fan leaf and pick it from your plant. Now take said fan leaf, put it in your mouth, chew it up and swallow it....

So, how was that experience?! Bet u will never do that again!
Same goes for animals in the wild. THC protects the plant from being eaten by wild animals. That is only one of many ways it protects your plant

Trichs grow on lots of plants. For example tomatoes have trichs on them. They are actually to damage the feet of insects that come to feed on the plant. In fact they were recently talking about making some kind of simulated trichs on a fabric that you could put in or near your bed that would kill bedbugs...

And no as crazy as that sounds I'm not talking shit here: http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2013-04/building-better-bed-bug-trap

This isn't true, at all. Lots of animals (ie. deer and rabbits) will eat leaves with trichs, they don't give a crap, it's delicious to them.

Thc is a strong natural sunblock for the plants. Trichomes do many things that is just one of them.

Hehe if you believe it to not be true go lick up and down on a yummy stem a few times.. your tongue will feel like its on fire. This is why you only find these plants partially eaten(normally). The bracts are irritating and burn like crazy on your throat and tongue..

I mostly ONLY eat raw grass these days.. or rather about 50 percent of what I grow, get's eaten right off the plant.. right in my mouth.. I LOVE the flavor of my strains and it is much more smooth than a shot of tequilla.

I highly recommend people start eating more raw grass.. it is a great anti inflammatory if you need, but also has good nutritive benefits. In my area/region 'juicing' fresh bud is a daily staple for many of us as well.

Very strain dependent.. Some literally tastes like duff.. Oddly enough (or maybe not so odd when you consider they often share actual terpenes that can be found in some fruits), fruity smelling strains usually (to me) are the best tasting strains.

I have a Blue Magoo to die for.. I eat it because it is good.. I crave it..

I am sorry but I have to agree with qwizoking here, I have never found a full plant munched on to a nub. Most animals (it appears) will take a bite, maybe 2 and move on....

As for eating your plants, im sure they are tasty, when prepared or eaten properly. Ilove artichokes, but the first time I ate it (not knowing) i was in for one hell of a surprise! Damn near choked on them pointy fuckin hairs! But now I know how to prepare em and eat them regularly!

Hi..

Heck, in this area the deer will eat your whole fields if you let them..

As for how I myself prepare my own grass.. I reach over and snap a bud off and stick it in my mouth and savor it.. I am not kidding when I say 'I crave it'. Very good, very healthy. Been eating raw grass for over 20 years, not exactly sure what I would do without my daily breakfast.. i
