Incredible bulk strain 8x4 grow

I know all the basics....So ill be using a 8x4 text, and looking to grown between 8/10 plants. Ill be using x2 600w HPS, will this be enough? I couldn't stress for as much help as possible from seeding to harvesting. The more advise the better! Novice here.... sorry boys we all have to start somewhere.

You'll get away with using 1200w, but ideally you'll want more, because that doesn't really give them the optimum lumens per square foot.

Only reason I opted for the 8x4 is ive read the incredible bulk can reach big growth..

So from what I see, aim for smaller tent... and a good exhaust fan?

I think many new growers over estimate how many plants they need. I thought I needed more, but ended with two, which was great.
That was 13 years ago. My current grow is two plants. I grow for myself so I've always grown in about 2x4 space. Less than 300g/11 oz in that space is a bit of a fail (imo) and anything over is plenty for the the next three months (imo).

That’s the size tent I have. On my 1st grow still. 8 weeks into flower. Still got a ways to go but you just set a bar for me. 11 oz from a 2x4. How many plants tho? I have 1 in there now and I wouldn’t have room for a second.

Nothing wrong with 2x600 in a 4x8, 2x 1000w would be better.

Nothing wrong with 8x4 and 8-10 plants, takes less time to fill. I grew 8 per 8x4 with 3x 600s for years. Perfect amount of plant IMO.

Watch for mould on the incredible bulk in last few weeks, its a strain that works out better with multiple colas been slightly smaller than it would with just a couple of colas of huge proportions. Top a few times.

Use lots of airflow. almost every bulk I grew got a bit of mould somewhere , but it is a very good yielder , average smoke, good but not awesome flavours.

So you suggest buying an extra light? And abit extra airflow... what do you mean by top them?

I have grown in an 8 x 4 tent with 3x600w hps, but they where inline reflectors that pulled the heat. If you are going open hood I would stick with the two 600w. Its better to have 2 good producing lights than 3 shitty producing ones because they overheated the tent. I suggest starting with the two 600w, seeing how a grow goes, and add another light from there.

I don't like temp controlled duct fans, I find its better to just have constant flow.
Expanding on this thought, your lights are going to heat the tent up to the point of the temp controlled fan just being on anyway. So just keep it on. There is no point in having it turning on and off, interuppting air flow, and causing mold. Temp controllers on a duct fan is just a useless accessory that they use as an extra selling point.

I’d go with 4 plants and lots of Low Stress Training/Trellis if it was my first grow. It will give you same yield as 8 plants in a 4 x 8 and you will have less work, Less watering and less stress.
