The Cmon was because I didn't appreciate your anti-Semitic comment and found it extremely offensive. All Jews are not cheap. In fact I have seen to it that 28 of the IG lights have been given, free of charge to those that I have come across that were in need. Of course I have asked for nothing in return and Darryl has never once questioned the veracity of my decision. And there have been many others donated (including the party cups) that IG has helped stood up for that I don't even know about. For AT to pull back on what was promised is not a Jewish condition it is an Apache Tech condition.

As to the motive of these trials and IAGLA I think you raise what could be argued is simply a way of marketing IG products. But someone had to start something like this. It's long overdue. The amount of disinformation out there is staggering. To simply put up a trial that lets the plants speak for themselves at least shows there is going to be transparency in how the products perform over these plants. IG is at just as much of a public risk to poor performance as any of the companies you suggested or that have agreed to participate or will be tested regardless of whether or not they agreed to participate. If you or AT has a better way of structuring this type of organization why not do so? If it is somehow more credible than IAGLA then IAGLA will go away. People vote with their feet.

As to the PAR footprint of a competitor to the AT600 I would suggest you do a complete veg thru final flower side by side run with the IG Pro-420 with Pontoon that you were given free of charge (not very Jewish) at the Maximum Yield show in San Francisco 2 years ago. The IG is going to cover a larger area at 1/3 of the wattage, a fraction of the weight, no fans, and be less expensive to purchase. Let's see where the weights and quality take us. If you are disinclined to run such a side by side why not offer that light to one of the RIU members that might not be able to afford it but could actually use it? IG will even pay the shipping.

Tight fixture spacing^^^ what are the actual wattage savings here? ROI on just no relamping??
It's an optical illusion. They also look like they're at an angle but they're not. The lights are spaced 1.5' from Pontoon to Pontoon which is a little tighter than I recommend but most of my East Coast pals tend to do things their own way no matter what I tell them. Who am I to argue? They have their own geneticist, an on site lab and turn out some of the best oils I've seen anywhere. :bigjoint:

I apologize for offending you and you beliefs. Specially your personal ones. But my points and statements still stand regardless.

Apache NEVER COMMITTED to a side by side or anything to do with giving a light. No matter what darryl told you. And here is an example of the kind of businessman antics I referenced...AT mentioned that they bought an illumitex to test after darryl said they were in if AT was in. Which from what I can tell is not the case in reality. Andre said no and passed him off to Robert(instead of being a dick and say get out of here). When darryl contacted robert, he(darryl) said to robert that andre gave the Ok for an at600...which was a lie. Darryl also said to robert that andre said to send the illumitex over too...LIES. If darryl never did that...IG might be getting a light since I talked andre down for you guys yesterday...but andre just couldn't let go of the attempt to swoop their illumitex when it was never even hinted at by andre. Why would they need one if illumitex said they were in if AT was??? That is where the sketchiness feelings come from with AT and the situation.

As for a PAR foot print and coverage...lets compare apple to apples then...
By IG's standard of coverage(<100µmols on the edges), the AT600 covers an 8x8.
By apaches standard of coverage(350µmols, same as hps, and 250% more powerful on the edges than an IG...and the center numbers are mind boggling stronger) and IG would cover 2.5x4 tops.

As for the light you gave me...I accepted it and ran a run...veg throughout flower. A average one maybe, but in a style that has been successful for us. It was the performance PAR numbers that kept it from going mainstream in my garden. I have been nothing but good to indagro people and users wanting advise. I've kept the PAR number argument on the back burner(similar to how I am with a51 on some things), and always put in the best light possible, while still being real about it.
You then offered me the VPAR...which I kindly turned down because...I could not do the light justice and dedicate the time and what not that needed to be done...So...I suggested hyroot as the best tester...and sure as shit he was loaded up with IG's like that. And he has done them nothing but honest justice, and I am glad...since that was my plan...not taking a free light that I couldn't follow through with. I even offered my IG if need at the time.
And I am totally willing to do it right now. If there is someone in need or that you just want to have an IG420...mine is on the table. Limited burning time, and kept in safe dry storage when not in use.

Thank you for the apology.

Neither of us were involved in the conversation. Andre has his version and Darryl has his. When I asked Darryl if he could have misunderstood Andre he provided me with this email string. What you will see by reading it is when Darryl contacted Robert via email right after his phone call with Andre to make arrangements for the light to go directly to Oregon, Robert never responded that the offer was not made, he just declined to participate and went on to cite all the reasons he would not participate. Essentially overriding Andre. Not once intimating that the offer was never made and even stated he wished us luck and looked forward to seeing the results. Lastly you will see that the last email was Darryl asking to purchase the light. He tells me he has never gotten a response to his last email.

Again neither of us were in that call but for Andre to deny the offer was made that means D made it up when he contacted Robert. I don't believe that D would have contacted Robert knowing full well that the first thing Robert is going to do is ask Andre if he agreed to do this? You can reach your own conclusions but I would not be one to call Andre a liar. Perhaps forgetful. None of this is getting us anywhere. Why not donate the 420-Pontoon to a grower on RIU that is in a situation that it would help them out? Like I said before IG will cover the freight. And if ultimately you can somehow influence Andre to rethink their participation on the AT600 for the trial that would really be all that could be asked of GG. No one else seems to have that kind of sway.

Damn I read through all this...lol i wish/ hmmm f that I should do the ultimate side by side by side....i'd prob put an 860 cmh in a luxor hood against anything out there...IMHO it can't be beat. especially not for price and I've used the same bulbs 3 to 4 grows without any drop in yield or quality (which hps can't do other than double ended of course) so they are efficient too. Sooo not that this has anything to do with the IAGLA at all, obviously...but i may just say fuck it and use some plastic to buy an at600 and ig/pontoon and do a 3 way with the same cuttings. I am not biased to ANYTHING. I just think a cmh can't be beat. I've grown 1000 watt hps with hortis for years (still do at another op) and it doesn't hold a candle to the cmh. After my findings...I sell the rest and keep the winner and buy more :leaf:  :leaf:

Rome wasn't built overnight , neither will this test as I need to finish my current flower run lol

20141115_202923.jpg If anyone on here could do it justice I think it would be coco. Would love to see a side by side include a cmh, not to often you see that. Just to ease the tensions in here, here is a shot of my garden under my IG currently, it will be getting smaller this weekend since some males have come to the party so this is the last time it will look this full for a while.

can't wait to see another side by side GG. you gonna do PAR readings
and compare it with the apache upon arrival?
I have had it for 2 years already. I flowered with the combo once, and then vegged with just the pro420 every run you've probably seen from me.
I have done a par foot print/spread already...might actually be in this thread...Ill try to find it.

i have already seen the par readings on the AT600 that were posted,
i just want to see them compared to the 420 with the pontoon. i remember
you vegging with the IG in your last blue dream group with the 10g containers.
guess i missed the IG par readings.

all different flower times every batch. they seem to go longer than they should. Here is a 50 day strain macro at day 64. No amber and hairs are receding very slowly. Every strain / plant seems to be taking a lot longer. Is it uv-b, or the extended flower days or what? I'm not seeing any change in trich's at all. I was planning on chopping this weekend.

It's not the UV-B it might be the hours you're running on these strains. Are these on a 13/11? I've had a similar issue with a SD Bullrider, and a Blueberry Hogsbreath that were fully developed trichomes but no color change. It took me going to a 10/14 before they started turning amber. Cut the hours back. The other thing I would question is are any of these plants seeing the A51 too? I don't know what the mix of spectrums might be doing here.
