The Cmon was because I didn't appreciate your anti-Semitic comment and found it extremely offensive. All Jews are not cheap. In fact I have seen to it that 28 of the IG lights have been given, free of charge to those that I have come across that were in need. Of course I have asked for nothing in return and Darryl has never once questioned the veracity of my decision. And there have been many others donated (including the party cups) that IG has helped stood up for that I don't even know about. For AT to pull back on what was promised is not a Jewish condition it is an Apache Tech condition.
As to the motive of these trials and IAGLA I think you raise what could be argued is simply a way of marketing IG products. But someone had to start something like this. It's long overdue. The amount of disinformation out there is staggering. To simply put up a trial that lets the plants speak for themselves at least shows there is going to be transparency in how the products perform over these plants. IG is at just as much of a public risk to poor performance as any of the companies you suggested or that have agreed to participate or will be tested regardless of whether or not they agreed to participate. If you or AT has a better way of structuring this type of organization why not do so? If it is somehow more credible than IAGLA then IAGLA will go away. People vote with their feet.
As to the PAR footprint of a competitor to the AT600 I would suggest you do a complete veg thru final flower side by side run with the IG Pro-420 with Pontoon that you were given free of charge (not very Jewish) at the Maximum Yield show in San Francisco 2 years ago. The IG is going to cover a larger area at 1/3 of the wattage, a fraction of the weight, no fans, and be less expensive to purchase. Let's see where the weights and quality take us. If you are disinclined to run such a side by side why not offer that light to one of the RIU members that might not be able to afford it but could actually use it? IG will even pay the shipping.
