I'm in 1L pots now, and since the plants are short and always increasing in "shrub status", watering was become more of a pain. I can't just dump in water, I have to do it all slow. I had an idea of making a large batch of nutrient solution and dunking the whole airpot in a bucket(pseudo bottom feeding), instead of top feeding. Basically a manual method of "Flood and Drain".Yeah, you'll see water squirt out the sides like a hole in a damn
Had high hopes for them to replace fabric smartpots, thinking they would be easier to clean, easy to unscrew for a transplant and would last forever.
You can dump water in a fabric smartpot, not with these, gotta trickle it in or it's a mess.
Bummer they are so messy, mine are for outdoor use only now.
