Independence Day is here. And if it where not for those brave men and woman so many centurys ago we would not be a free country. So say thank you to a Veteran, because with out them now, where would we be tomorrow.
I Served Gulf War 90-91

It's independence day, not veteran's day.

Independence day is in celebration of our independence from British rule, something that our veterans had absolutely nothing to do with.

Not that I'm saying they shouldn't be respected, just that today isn't their day.

Who do you think got us away from British Rule? Strong Minded Men and Woman, Heros, true Veterans for the Love of one country.
I am not to replicate the war with little bombs blowing up, and not think/reflect on the horrors of dieing young/old men and woman that freed us so so long ago.

Well no matter what day it is I still respect veterans because they didn't fight and die for just vet day, it is EVERY DAY, and therefor they should be respected EVERY day.

Golden thanks for your service, there are still some of us out there that are VERY VERY greatful for our Vets. I come from a line myself.
+rep for you

And piss on the people that are too stupid to realize,
