if it's a typical plant it looks like about 2-3 weeks left maybe longer considering its a sativaI havent seen new pistil growth for a week now, but still a lot of white pistils... I guess I should wait a bit more?
What size loupe/microscope do you use?
Kingfisher, judging by those pics, you still have about a month to go. All those white pistils need to be withered and the buds have a lot of filling-up to do. Happy Harvesting man !Hi guys
Posting some bud shots of my Indian Landrace Sativa grown outdoors - need your input on how close/far away they are looking from being ready?

I would let them go until they're "dead-ripe" (as long as possible). Even landrace sativas will ripen eventually. You can speed up the process by giving them a longer dark period (ie. 8/16 light cycle). They will ripen much faster if exposed to such a long dark period. Cannabis is hardy and can take a light frost (usually) before any significant damage occurs. I once flowered a Mandala Safari mix in my COLD attic in January. I remember the temp dropped to 25f and the plant continued to grow (at a slower rate) but you get the idea. My advice = Let them ripen as much as possible. Purple leaves are normal in cold temps, don't worry about that. I would try to give them 16 hrs. of uninterrupted darkness ASAP, and you will see them ripen up much quicker. Hope this helpsThanks man...but its already getting so cold at nights ...a couple of leaves turned purple overnight....i dont know if she will survivie a month of such cold

Kingfisher - Those are some BEAUTIFUL plants bro !!! ~ I can understand your excitement about the pink pistils, I would be thrilled if those were my plants also. The plants look like they have another month to go (at least). Try giving them more dark hrs every night (8/16) and they will start to ripen faster.Yes, thats re-assuring.
Just wanted to thank everybody ...always helps to have someome to calm you down when in doubt !!
For anyone thats interested, here are pics of another sativa that is currently under flowering. This one stretched for a good 15-20 days before settling down. I am very excited by this particular plant, its different from the first one - the buds are looking different, smells quite different, much more sticky, so sticky in fact that its almost like a mild glue and also, today i noticed some red hairs (pistils) also coming out apart from the usual white pistils. So far I have only heard about genetics from my country that have buds with red hair...very exciting times. I hope I can see them through after coming this far.
Basically growing the two plants in one single hempy bucket.

See the red hairs in those buds? Like I said before, these are not hybrid strains, so finding such traits in natural genetics is very exciting for me.
