The incident happened in Kentucky.

It may not be over yet. The court stated that it should go back to Kentucky to see if it fits the meaning of exigency. I doubt that it will, but I have been wrong before and I'm not a lawyer.

8-1 decision. Very scary.

The man they were after gets a walk, but the man that had nothing to do with the incident goes to jail. Unreal.

so the reason its now legal to break into your house is because it lowers violence? lol why dont they just teach cops what is legal and what is not, and there wont be any unnecessary violence because they arent breaking into peoples houses

Hey Michigan has a militia and this shit doesn't go down here....every state should have a militia..it is our duty as Americans to over throw an oppressive government..kinda what we were founded on if i remember correctly

The USSC has come dangerously close to defining a repressive government. A police state is certainly on the heels of this sad decision....

Jefferson said a revolution should happen once every 6 years. He was right, do it by voting.

A uprising will give Obama what he wants the ability to call for marshall law and then he can do whatever he wants. Be careful what you wish for...

He can call martial law, but how many of those people who are to be enforcing martial law (police, and the military) will actually stand on his side?

I know many that won't.

99% of them, the economy is bad so they won't give up a job even if that job is rounding up their friends family and neighbors.

I don't believe that for a second. There might be a few but the vast majority have been raised and indoctrinated to believe in freedom. Even if we don't really have this freedom we speak of, just believing we it exist secures our freedom in a marshall law situation. Law enforcement and the won't have the will to overpower the people and there half a billion guns.
But I am an optimist when comes to the reasoning and good will of man.
