Indicas and Sativas.....and you

Hello everybody :weed:

I mainly use marijuana because i suffer from extreme anxiety, ptsd, depression and insomnia...

Because of this I aim towards growing or buying mainly Indica bud, but recently around my way, ive only had access to sour d, and a variety of sour's. most are top shelf, some batches you can tell werent stored properly, like a plastic bag, but definitely are of good quality sativas.
,
I find i am smoking 2 to even 3 times more with this bud, i desire couch lock, calmness etc from my anxiety but the head high from the sour just helps depression but very shortly and not as heavy as some less potent indicas.

I only enjoy it as wake n bake... sometimes

does anyone else experience the same thing or vice versa with strains and lean towards indica or sativas one way?

your thoughts are appreciated :peace:

i learn towards indicas suffer from extreme anxiety and agoraphobia myself

Indicas are for more of the calm, sedative feeling. Sativas tend to be more on the heart racing, head pumping kinda high. The stuff you want to avoid if you have severe anxiety and such.

I prefer more sativa leaning strains in the morning unless im drinking coffee. If I smoke indicas in the morning with no coffee then well, game over lol.

I have a critical kush grow, week 2, its supposed to be 100% indica, great for night time insomnia and anxiety...

I haven't had any experience with s.a.g.e

I feel that the mix of sativa (or at least sour in this case) and high anxiety keeps all those other convos and thoughts in my head going...people with anxiety know what i am talking about... Indicas also relax my eyes much more, the sativa based strains barley red my eyes....

also edible wise, sativas are very bad and just do not work in my case

any time i make edibles i must use indica, or effects are simply not there...

S.A.G.E. has a really nice alert yet relaxed feel to it and the taste is very unique and exotic imo. I also think it is one of the perfect strains for camping and outdoor activities such as canoeing/kayaking and things of the sort. Im looking at getting ahold of Spoetnik #1 or Mazar for a full bodied indica to run inside.

Ohh and the yield with S.A.G.E. is wonderful as well. I liked vegging for about 6-8 weeks and running 4 under a 600hps. I could usually come out alittle bit shy of a lb. One of the top yielders for me that ive ran thus far.

Funny you mentioned mazar, i have a Mazar x White Rhino also at 2 weeks, never smoked either but always heard good things about White rhino... but Mazar is new to me

Idk if you and me where talking about that in the strain review but I had white widow x afghan kush from world of seeds and I really enjoyed the smoke. I am actually alittle surprised that dutch passion crossed the original Mazar Sharif with skunk #1. Supposedly to increase yield and flavor but even so I wish I could get my hands on an OG mazar. Just sounds soo exotic haha.

If I'm lucky enough to have both strains at the same time, I will use the indica on days where the pain is more intense, where as I tend to smoke sativas for the buzz and headache/migraine relief.

I love Indica and I love Sativa and I love a Hybrid that offers both .. It all depends on the time of day for me .. Sats and Hybrids all day long and Indicas and Kush later afternoon/eve and into the night .. But then there are times when I just say fuck it and go opposite lol .. I love it all and I am a potsnob !

I suffer from NBH. (Not Being High)

If I smoke sativas in the morning I need a nap later that day.
If I smoke a good indica (Ingrid maybe) at 3:00 in the afternoon I can't remember if I had smoked that day.

There is something in many sativas and hybrids that make me tired a few hours later.
The only way for me to tell is try it out before noon.

I am really suffering from NBH right now, brb.

I've got to laugh and weep simultaneously, I've stuck with the same strain for over 20yrs, more or less {only because of who I dealt with} it was a northern lights x and it rocked, but hearing you guys speak about these other strains makes me wonder how much out of the loop I am. It's only lately that I've encountered the newer ones like cheese, AK47, blueberry {well new for me lol} and I'm not knocking anything here because I loved them all but I feel the NLx was superior in overall product...I can except that fact I could be and probably am a little biased here.

I think I need to get out more :(
