indoor grow 1 plant help

I am living in a 1bdrm apartmenet and am thinking about growing a plant or two in my closet for personal. I am planning on making a soil mix and doing all of the basic things like foiling all around where they're being grown, getting a m-hialide light, maybe hps as well. This seems like an alright start as I know a little about the subject, but not as much as I'd like and since they're strictly personal I want to make these buds as NICEEEEE as they can possibly get. Just wondering if anyone can give me a rundown of what all and how I need to do so.

I currently have 20-30 or so seeds from sacks of blueberry, some purple strains, and a few other really nice buds. Maybe order some offline just to make sure they're legitely off the chains?

Well if you only plan on growing one plant, I would use cfls, not a mh or hps... too hot and too much for so little. And if your growing from seed, I would pop at least 4 so you are pretty much guarenteed a female. Does this grow have to be invisible to others or do you not have traffic through this area? PM me and I would love to help you out with your set up. In the meantime, order Jorge Cervantes Growers Bible and start reading. Not about your set up necessarily (even this would help for future reference) but about what makes a plant do what it does.

I would definitly go with the CFL's for a closet grow. Much cooler, and cheaper to purchase & operate.
