Not necessary every time but when you do water in the future your going to want 10-20% run off to help with salt build up with nutrients. What color was the water at the end of flushing? When u flush u need to control everything that means having the pH/ ppm dialed in for the plain water going in. By the time your done flushing the water should be clear or near it not yellowish. The ppm/ph of the water should also be close to what your input water was. I recommend a shop vac if u can.

You should only test the ph at the very beginning to confirm your water is going to be suitable, and then again if theirs a problem, namely yellowing, or heavy dark colored leaves to correct the problem, in my opinion everything in between is just for reassurance and/or a waste

The water has only appeared clear to me in all the past waterings. I will pay very close attention on the next watering, which is usually Sunday. Do you think once a week is too much right now? I don't have to do it that day.

Another question. How far from the top of the plants should my lights be right now? 1 600w LED + 2 300w LED, plants are average 16" tall.

For watering don't go by a set time frame until you know the baseline... Stick your finger into the soil an inch or two feel the texture. When you pull your finger out is it dry with no soil or still damp with soil stuck to it. You need to water as needed. Over or under will hurt your plant although I'd rather under water cause I can always add more. For LED, I sit mine about 21" from canopy from veg-harvest

It does appear to be pretty much bone dry by Sundays, usually Saturday but I make them wait. But I will just gage by the soil dampness now, thank you!

Do any of the pictures I posted yesterday look like I could top again? Should I tie anything down? This is the first grow where I am doing any topping, so it's new to me, and while it seems the first toppings went well, I don't want to stress any of the plants out if they are already stressed from overfeeding.

You Can top again any time. My current grow I topped then topped again 2 days later... Resulting in my base looking Ike an X. It's important to note this does deform leaves. If you top too quickly there just isn't the space for proper leave growth. You can tie them down if you want. It's referred as LST (low stress training) or if from seedling/clone you could mainline which looks like a menorah (Jewish candle holder used traditionally around Christmas)

I just put my index finger and a wooden skewer into every pot. Every single pot is completely dry! Should I water?

Thought I'd throw it in for you to see. This is my baby probably week 2 of veg after a 3 week seedling period. I topped her then 2 day later again... Barley any growth at that point but I took it off. Resulting in an X at base.IMG_20170702_194159.jpg IMG_20170702_194153.jpg

Watering this morning and the first plants run off is faint yellow. Uh oh. What should I do? pH of the soil is 6.5

Watering plants one at a time and I've notice this plant looks sick and I'm not sure what I need to do. I have to help my plants today as I won't be able to tend to them Sunday or Monday at all.
