My plants are dying and im having some trouble figuiring out why. they are new clones, only about 2 inches tall but they are just slowly dying.

My light is a 400w mhs and its about 2 feet above the plants.

the boxes temp is 78-80 when the light is on.

i have a vent fan blowing the air out and a small fan blowing air into the plants from my room.

i water the plant once a day.

I feel like im giving these plants eveyrthing they need but they keep getting worse.

anyone have any suggestions, im new to this but i feel like im giving these things everything they need...

fresh clones are not suppose to have direct light. and lose the fan pretty sure from what ive read thats just helping dry them out. clones need humidity to help root

Watering once a day sounds like too much for a clone. Try cutting back your watering to once every 3-5 days.

personally i dont even water my clones at first unless their wayyy dry, i just use foliar sprays with a little nitrogen and put a bottle or somethin with tiny holes in it so it makes a little greenhouse around it to keep the moisture in

Now we have finished the hard part, the most critical part is the light that these will receive, again many differant oppinions here but this is what works for me and it works 100/100 so why would i change  take the cuttings and sit them on a window sill that is not in direct sunlight. You probbly want to make sure its slightly shady. Just make sure they get 12 on 12 off or approx. The important thing is no direct sunlight or artificial light on them.
thats from a cloning thead note the last part :P and you should be misting them not watering i think

for sure over watering... clones are not drinking enough to need water everyday... make sure your soil is fairly dry before watering..... I use 1 liter pots once the clones have rooted.. and water 100 ml once! and then nothing for a week, then transplant to bigger pot...
U need to turn off the fan.... And introduce a humidifier if possible... i have a humidifier keeping my veg room at 70% rh at all times... and this allows me to not have to water too often seen as its very humid and clones love it..... U also need a little greenhouse, to retain even more humidity around the clones...
Its also good to use root stimulator if your not doing so..... NO fertilizer... just root stimulator...!!
good luck and PEACE OUT!!
