Indoor Heat problems

Hello All.

ill give you a quick breakdown of my issue.. basically i just bought a thermo/hygro meter.

with a grow tent thats 1 x 1 x 1.8. only enough for two/three medium sized plants.
im running a 400 watt MH lamp in there aswell as a oscilating fan, exhaust fan with ducting leading to outside, and intake fan sucking in fresh air.:hump:

now will all these running i have a humidity level of 35 to 40% and temperature is in the 33* Celcius range, or in AMERICAN terms.. about 91-95 degrees farenheight.:joint:

35 ºC = 95 ºF

Is this an environment thats too hot for the plants to grow properly? its summer here in my part of the world.. and the 'BASE' temperature is about 77ºF at nights inside and outside the house so yeah.
what do i have to do? grow outside? ..

if i get a cool tube (any those who have) how many degrees should i expect the room temp to drop after getting it? i dont want to spend $250 on somthing that will only drop it one or two degrees..

any other ideas?:-?

your temps are fine...you will have people that disagree, but from experience as long as you have some type of air flow, like an oscilating fan atleast it will be ok. if you hit 100 and cant control it, then get something.

oh, and if you get a cool tube your temps should drop to like 80 or so...depending on the fans CFM.
Thanks... i think its worth the investment in a cool tube.
im going to post up a youtube video of my room and show some of you guys the questions i have and the dillemas.

With my 400HPS I used a cool tube with no fan but chimney style vented it above my box and hole sawed some 2 inch breathers into the floor. The thermal movement alone dropped the temp 5 degrees celcius and the humidity dropped 20 %. So with a fan I would assume you could gain a substantial drop even with your ambient air temp being in the 90's.

I have the same problem.!! My temp at 92maxi was wondering if it was a problem also but their not showing any problems... And dude 250 for a air cooled hood.?? http://www.hpsgrowlightstore.com/hps1510/grow-lights/grow-light-reflectors/xtrasun-8-air-cooled-reflector.html that one is $101.21

wow thanks!!

i still think its too hot in the room ill have to get one of these hoods..

the leaves are dryish and the plant doesnt hold moisuture well.. and its even worse if you have height restriction.. i only have a tent thats 1.8m in height. so the plants will grow very close to the bulb.. and the closer to the bulb the higher in temp!!.. exceeds 105 next to my lights.
