indoor hügelkultur advice

i need advice on whether or not to bake the wood before i put it in my beds, im pretty afraid of bringing ants or something into the beds, i got plenty other critters but ik they're all ok but its the unknown that scares me, but i dont wanna kill any spores or anything beneficial. ik theres spores in the air and i think itd be ok but i still want some opinions so watchu guys think? anyone whos done it indoors what'd you do?

I very much doubt baking the wood is necessary, unless the queen is in the lumber, stray worker ants won't start a colony, and without the colony worker ants don't live long.
