Indoor hydro. Do I need to wash before drying

What’s up guys. I never grew outside but came across washing your buds when you do. Peroxide dip than water than dry. Not something I want to play with since I grow indoors.

but I got a better loop with a 60 and 90 lens. You can see little hairs from my sweat shirt from going in fixing them etc. Nothing crazy.

But I did have a few branches probably around 20 grams had mold. Cut them off it’s fine. Grow is almost ready to chop. Should I be worried about spores from the mold? I read that bud washing won’t get rid of mold. I won’t play with anything to try to kill mold. I have enough plants and will buy weed before that but washing will get rid of the spores.
If no mold has spread to other nugs. Am I safe or is it that the spores just don’t have the best environment anymore to grow with all the fans blasting it. My rH is still high I’m lucky to hit 64% with lights on.
I wouldn’t have thought twice about just harvesting until reading about washing

I started doing it about 6 years ago and I’ve done it ever since.
It will kill any bacteria and help eliminate that mold possibly.

If you can get RH down into the 50's, do it. I lost a really nice plant to bud rot a couple of years ago and it really suck to see almost 4 months of work in the trash can.

Re. bud washing - I started doing when I had to use a spray for thrips and I've made a habit of it. It doesn't harm the secondary metabolites but does help get rid of any dirt and dust that might have landed on the plants.

Adding a window AC in the room if possible will cool the air, and bring the rh down. Don’t store any liquids in the room as well.
I’d definitely do a thorough wash at harvest to be safe, and inspect everything before it goes in your water for brown spots/rot in your bud.
