i love the DWC setup that i have running it was pretty cheap to construct and im able to have alot more space to grow with as well so i can get bigger plants which means bigger yields lol... but as for the LEDs i would say they are a go if you buy quality lights. they work awesome in tent grows and confined spaces and are a power saver for sure as well i would say give it a try lol

right now i just have my og kush journal going...its in an aeroflo under a 1000W HPS. The GDP just started showing roots yesterday, so i'll wait until Friday before I put them in the machine. I will definitely have a journal going on that one!

After a week of 14/10 ... Starting 12/12 on Monday ... Cant wait till I see flowers so excited ...

but everything is going smoothly really happy with the outcome of the grow so far

ill post pics of the girls solo on monday..
i also noticed a small leak in the feed line so ima take care of that as well as give them another good flushing ( super paranoid about lil buggers and it cant do any harm ) so ill get some good pics of all them by their lonesome

the room is looking amazing the pineapple top is continuing to grow super fast and lengthy crazy sativa forsure so ive been trying to bend and crimp her to get her to stay under the light tomorrow ill have time to show pics of my work ... but all the other ladies ive been able to keep a pretty even canopy with a billion tops (well not really a billion but ALOTTA ALOTTA ) super stoked glad the led are coming through

Lol I agree! Thanks Viagro for referencing my first ever grow(it's documented here on RIU). Currently on my third! All LED(the only type of light i have used)with killa harvests!

StoneyC I'm scribed for the ride. They are looking great! I have a 270W Enhanced Spectrum Supernova i bought from hidhut. I love my LED! Dont worry LED haters i love you too! Lol I am a rookie currently on my third ever grow(first regular strain). My first grow was three autos(2Onyx&1Easyryder) which yielded 5.2 oz. Dried and cured. Second grow was 5 autos same strains but also a haze auto and that harvest was 5.9oz. I have to say the LED amazed me! Of course I was worried about how it would perform. Hell that first grow I dove right in buying my light for $1200. I can honestly say it has performed with excellence IMO. It's a great stand alone LED. Which is what I was looking for! I did not want to have to buy a light and then have to add some supplemental lighting. I was really sold once I seen it in the hightimes 2010 grow gear guide. It received the S.T.A.S.H. Award for the best new LED technology. But of course shortly after purchasing it hightimes comes out with the new grow gear and lists another light as best new tech. Lol whatcha gonna do? I'm hoping for even better results this grow. I made the switch to canna and coco. Plus growing 2 regular growing strains. I just bought a digigro coco co2 monitor and regulator also. Should get it in a few days. Anway just wanted to support another LED User! Keep it up they look nice!

it looks like you are doing a hell of a job i was thinking you could possibly benefit from some sort of reflective material inside your tent
something like panda film or mylar i use reflectix it is a reflective bubble wrap available at lowes.
just my 2cents

i was going to mylar the inside but i kinda just said hell with it lol it was an expense that i kinda felt i could cut out ... ive used it in other rooms and it was a pain in the ass even the thicker sheets.. ive never heard of reflectix ill look into it for my next round thanks for the advice appreciated

i wish you much success ... i wish i would have started in my DWC setup ... but we always have next time lol but i love my buckets and my lights ... good luck with your grow ... if your starting a journal let me know and id be more then happy to follow it

anyways yesterday was the first full day of 12/12 ... were on full bloom now ill post all the pictures i took yesterday as well as specifics ... just been busy busy ..

Im still running the full line of Botanicare Pure Blend Pro.
My reservoir is filled with 15 gal
Mixed with:
Pure Blend Pro Bloom 300 ml or 20 ml per Gal.
Liquid Karma 150 ml or 10 ml per Gal.
Sweet 150 ml or 10 ml per Gal.
Hydroplex 75 ml or 5 ml per Gal.
Cal-Mag 75 ml or 5 ml per Gal.
GoGnats 1.5 oz in 15 Gal.

My water/nutes stats
PH is 5.8
PPM is 800

you can see in the last couple of pictures the bending and crimping i was doing to the pineapple top trying to keep her under the lights ... thats the only bummer bout having a sativa dominant in a room full of indica dominants she out grows the rest in height easily and hard to keep in check lol

looking good man...that last one looks like a straight 13 weeker sativa.

i finally got my LED tent going too. so im excited to see what they can do

tell me about it lol ... the last one def is sativa she looks so pretty compared to the other plants she is almost looks like a tropical tree not a dense bush ... im ready for the long flower though .. im working on constructing a cloning cab. and thats almost done so as soon as she would be done flowering a could hopefully be ready to start again with some nice sized well rooted clones and keep it going ...i wanna eventually build a cab or room for strictly veg somewhere but im running outta space but im tryna clear space up in the garage so hopefully i will be able to get things going on a lil bit bigger of a scale .. or at least increase my output

It's good to see that I'm not the only one that grows a million colas on a plant ... but then again that is the LED way to grow.

so i had a mini catastrophe this morning ... well really not that bad but still no fun ... was chillin in the living room when i heard a loud crash in the garage ... btw this is the location of my partial constructed cloning/mother closet.... as the garage door was being opened by my girlfriend returning from a shopping trip one of my grandmothers dogs who somehow got trapped in the garage got startled and apparently he was snooping close to the closet cause when he jumped he manage to knock the light free sending my t-5 lighting crashing ... the majority of the bulbs shattered those that didnt pretty much caught fire/lots of sparking around the bulb socket and melted them pretty bad the frame got bent but still in one piece but def a goner .. had to pick up new unit today which was a bummer
just thought id vent my frustrations to you guys haha
