indoor lighting

This is my second post, and I've learned alot from perusing the forum. Thanks for all the help. I keep my plant, (I only have one) and it's just started showing signs of being female, in a window facing east where the sun comes up. I recently transplated it from a smallish pot to a three gallon bucket. The roots were growing through the holes in the small pot...Probably been vegging eight weeks, almost three feet tall and never been cropped. Is it OK to put in under flourescent lights during the day? I have 4 /40 watt flourescent bulbs (cool white) supposed to be good for veg. from what I read. And two small CFL's hanging on the side. Will this change from sunlight in the window to flourescent light kill my flower stage?

fan leaf tips are turning yellow/brown, very small, barely noticeable... nitro burn?

yes, you can use a mixture of natural and artificial light. just be sure to keep your lighting schedule consistent. if your in vegitative cycle, plant should recieve either 24 hours of constant light or 18 of light and 6 of darkness. i prefer the 24 hour period, but 18/6 will also work. what kind of nutes are you using and how much?

Plant is slightly stretched, but stem is pretty thick because I've put it outside occassionally on breezy days, and use a fan on the lowest setting when it's under the lights. Fan leaves maxed out at 11 leaves and have reverted back to nine, nodes are growing closer together near the top. I've read those are signs of middle to end of veg.... The leaves at the node intersections have begun growing like mad, and the vertical growth has slowed somewhat. Maybe because I've been using the lights more. I don't know. Hairs are visible to the naked eye. Soil is a generic potting soil, don't remember the name and threw the bag away.... Been using miracle grow all purpose plant food. 15-30-15. But in a very weak mixture. Approx. 25 percent of recommended doseage, and I do spray the leaves. Last thing: I saw red and blue CFL's in the store. Not red and blue spectrum, the bulbs were actually red and blue. Are then any good for flowering? Thanks for the help. I'm new to this indoor stuff, I used to just start 'em and plant them outside and let mother nature work for me and I always did well. Any suggestions for a flowering nutrient?

if u can put it outside why not just do that? sunlight is 1000x better than cfls(rough guess lol) im a big fan of cfl dont get me wrong, but the sun is so much better. you want 2700k for flower, 6500k for veg. i wouldnt fuck around w/them blue and red ones unless u really wanna.

No pic's, and outside permanantly not an option unless I take it somewhere and forget about it for awhile. It's bagseed, sativa I believe. (Thin bladed fan leaves) It was triple ziploc bagged and I smelled it from across the room when it was in my buddies pocket, so I figured I'd take a shot. Been awhile since I've grown. Thanks for all the help.

dont mist the leaves of the plant..... just pour water onto soil and your done. you will burn leaves if you continue misting.... forget the blue and red bulbs, take destructions advice on bulb type. i would use foxfarm nutes for flowering stage...... good luck
