Indoor Stealth Grow

Im converting a dresser in to a stealth box. I will attach pics eventually, i just need to borrow my roommates camera. Anyways, i removed the shelves from the decorative wood paneling, discarding the drawer, and gluing the panel to the front of the dresser. So it looks like it has drawers but its hollow, get it?

Ok then i glued in a grow light, its floro but cheap and produces nearly no heat. And i feel any extra heat would allow the humidity to rise to a precent higher than the surrounding room.

Thats all i have done now. Im planning on taping on the inside the spaces where the drawers let purple light through. Then paint the inside a nice reflective white to help with light.

My real problem is the space under the last shelf where it is just open emitting light. I need to hide that some how.

Im growing a basil plant in it now to see what happens since i dont have seeds i like.

Tips comments questions?

If you are using one of those purple tube lights that are made for growing (prob from home depot or lowes I'm guessing) you are going to need a whole lot more light. That light will work for a week or two max so go out and get some CFL's or if you have money to spend a HPS or MH system. Good luck and don't forget to post pics
