indoor veg then outdoor flower

I started my plants off being indoor under clf's for a month on 24/24 then 18/6. After that month I just stuck them outside in pots just to let them grow using the sun. They look healthy, and growing well. My question is, would they start flowering straight away since outside I am getting only 13hrs of light? or? (this would be a good thing since I don't want big plants).

how can I keep my plants small also? I have a small backyard with a 6-7ft high fence.. I want to keep my plants under 5ft max... Is it possible?

How are they looking?

Thanks

they will probley flower quicker but if they start to get to big just bend it and tie it down, low stress traning (lst)

thanks for the reply. So would this mean the season would have no affect if veg'd indoor under 24/0 or 18/6 then stuck outside to flower??

I definately am NOT the final answer for this question however, I was talking to a verrrrry experienced grower about doing something similar with a few of my plants next spring when the weather is nice, and she told me that the change in environment and the lack of a consistent light schedule could cause the plants to go hermie....Now this is just what I was told so I would def research it more before you make any rash decisions lol.

well you said you have 13 hours of light anything under 14 hours will trigger flower.. but frost could seriously harm your plants

ah its just my first grow... I didn't / don't expect to go far with this... depending on the smell.. and neighbours awareness.

I'll let you know how these turn out... just interested if they'll start pre-flowering, showing sex etc.
