Indoor, window question

okay i have 2 plants in cups sitting on my windowcill, it is facing the south, so it gets tones of sun, but i was wondering, how long is too long to keep it there, before i move it either outside, or under a 400hps light?

Personally i would move it under the light as soon as i has decent roots and a few nodes.

Id definitely put it under the light. window isnt always sufficient even if it has lots of sunlight. if they have rooted and have a little foliage it doesnt hurt to throw them under the light. just make sure not to get the light too close. dont want to burn the lil guys!

i dont have a lgiht yet, thats the probb

and it might be a week before i can get my hands on a nice one

so how long is too longgg. or is there like a nice time to do it up

well Im not sure how long theyve been sitting there but theyll probably be fine for a week if they are pretty new. the best way to tell them is to watch them and see how they react. if they seem to change color or look wilty then you know you need to get a hold of a light asap.

They will no doubt stretch in a week, When you do get your light transplant into bigger containers and bury it to the first leaves.

yea its always a good idea to bury it to the first leaves anyways. no matter if you put em inside or outside just bury them to the first leaves. indoor is nice for a more controlled grow. if you grow outside youll need to be keeping a close eye out for pests that want to eat it up!

yeah prly- wont be the best 3 plants- just go with a 400 if your gonna wanna push it- eventually maybe u will want 4 plants, who knows...

i dont have enough room for 4 plants, i only have a closet that has a 2x5 foot base and 8 feet tall
