Indoor Yeild

Is 2oz per plant dried a good yield? It has to get better than this. My plants are a top height of 3 1/2ft when finished. I run 2 1000watts on a light mover with air cooled hoods. I have a Co2 system to. The room is 8ft by 10ft with 8ft ceilings. I keep my lights about 2ft above the plants. All plants are in 3 gallon grow bags. I can have 4 row of 5. Any ideas?

You got slightly over .5 gpw. You should be able to increase that to a minimum of 1 gpw.

What strain were you running?
Did you lose any bud to mold?
Did you have any pests or diseases?
How are the temps in your grow environment?
Are you using hydro or soil?
What nutes are you using?
How long did you let the plants flower for?
How dark is your dark period?
Did you check the trichomes to see if they were ripe, or judge based on breeder recs or other methods?

Room runs at 82 with the lights on and around 70 with them off. My humidity is around 45% to 55%. Each plant is vegged and flowered in a 3 gallon grow bag. I use FoxFarm Ocean Blend with 16 extra quarts of perlite per bag to help prevent clumping. The plants veg for one solid month using what nutes the soil has. right before they go into flowing I flush each one. This way there is no fert build up. Once in flowering i use the Sweet and Heavy line by Earth Juice. All parts including the 2 part hybrix. at 5 week I flush again this time going to a heavy feeding for 2 weeks. Then I flush and harvest. Im running Hawaiian Kush and God Bud.

Did you check the trichomes to see if you had hit amber yet? A lot of the weight of bud comes during the final two weeks of flowering. Buds may look done but are still swelling and maturing. Its possible you cut a little early.

What do you think the problem is? Are the buds light and fluffy?

I've never done these strains, but its possible that you are getting close to what they produce with your current method. You can try a few things to get bigger yields. You can veg longer than a month, try topping or training, or simply increase plant numbers. 20 plants isn't a lot of plants under 2 1000w with a light mover.

Might be a little early. Still feeling these 2 strains out. They both look great post pics when lights come back on. Do you think a SOG set up will yield more?

Those econowing really aren't that bad. But this guy is growing 20 plants at 2oz per plant that's 2 1/2 pounds. So, in actuality, he's doing much much better than you. You're not even getting a 1/4 gram per watt dude.

If its your first time an it s a good smoke its alrite, but i d expect more pp.i think 10 plants a light is just to much.give your gals space to grow an there ll reward you.recently had 12 lemon skunk under 2 600hps an got 6-7 a plant..

So less plants or more lower watt lights... 3 600 would cover your room alot better........also knowing what strain you grew would help

good luck next time

Try lowering the light. the closer the light the bigger the buds. I haves a 1000w HPS and i keep it 12in from the top buds but you'll need pleanty of air movement so not to burn the tops and i get a Qter p per plant. Good luck.......
