Yeah man I hear all the time about people flowering little plants with thick black trash bags - it'll work fine. It doesn't matter if u open at 6 or 7 or 8 or whatever you want, as long as you pick a schedule and stick to it EVERY single day no matter what. 7 to 7 means open 12 hours and closed 12 hours without exeption. I have been opening that thing every day for a month and a half now and every single day I was no more than 5 minutes off. KushisSweet's idea may work, but I wouldn't risk it. Just get out of bed early every day and do it RIGHT. If you can't get outta bed before 8 to take care of your plants then I don't know what to tell you 
Sometimes I even close up shop at 7:30pm, then open the top back up right before I go to bed around 10 or 11 (when its pitch black outside), then I wake up at about 4 (well before the sun is up) and re-close the top until 7:30am. Helps keep humidity/temp regulated better this way
