.........for posting this has really helped narrow down that norcal is where i wana move, and if ne one else can post more info about towns that have desent living feel free to post. HAVE A GROWTASTIC DAY EVERYONE.
Ive lived in Humboldt (most recently), Mendo coast (for a few years), Originally from Butte (grew up there) and now live in Yuba. Hum and Mendo can be expensive to buy or rent, as you are probably aware by now. You only have to worry about fog if your on the coast.. go inland a few miles and its hot. Can be hard to find good exposure as there simply is still a housing demand up there... not many places to build..all private forest land. Way kewl place to live.. but long drive to the Cities. Lake County/Ukiah areas are grow friendly and good weather.. more economical to live, easy jogs to the City, lower crime rates. Yuba County is more in the middle. Close to the City(ies), good growing climate. Cheap to live. Grow friendly. There are five 30-40 plant grows clustered together in plain view of the hwy close to where I live. Stay away from the shit hole little towns.. you will know them. Lots of foothill country with decent rent/house prices 1/2 hr-1 north of Sac with space ie acreage. We bought our 3500 sf house here for what we sold our shitty 1600sf house for in humboldt. Kinda tells ya something on cost of living. Works for us, good weather, Mountains and Ocean accessible, and the City is not too far away. I would never ever live south of Sacramento. Good luck in your search.

Im in the stockton area and to call it all a hellhole would be overstating it i think. As with all "bigger" cities your going to have your bad areas and good areas. Stay in north stockton and you should be fine, just stay away from Kelley street area, lmao. Never go south unless your looking for a stoley or something. Eastside is Muddville, looks worse then it is its just older area. Although its bad areas are bad I wouldnt just cross off stockton all together. My opinion only.

i feel ya pumpkinhead, i dont want citie area ne more im done with that. i want woods an no nieghbors, so by that logic all i need is a county that would let me grow like 40-80 plants an ill be happy. but having a nice citie close would be great for little things. so if any one knows an area of some back woods living n a rough cost in that area would be great. so to everyone that has posted and has read this thread HAVE A GROWTASTIC DAY.
