First grow that I've documented. Got my wings from my last grow. Ended up getting my plant to bud even after I learned my lessons on overwatering and over nuting. This will be a cool grow, Setting up the closet pretty good and have some decent cfl's to start with.
Going to go to wal*mart and home depot for a fixture and some traditional spiral cfls. I have 2 long bar cfl "grow lights." Not the color enhancing bulbs but actual grow bulbs. These will work nice for when I have the fixture and spirals these can go on the sides of the grow.
Im going to do just 3 plants, so I am going to make sure that I have adequite lighting. Right now the 2 bars output a total of 150ish watts of light, unsure of the lumens because it doesn't say. (I know thats lame) but it gets pretty bright in there. I may go buy a daylight one to get that spectrum going in force too.
Im going to use a traditional soil mix with some perlite. Use the nutes I have already for when the plant needs em, and get some ph strips. I swear by distilled water. The water here is okay I guess, but still has chlorine. Wish I was on a well but it's city water.
Im going to do a 22/24 start with 2 hours off to cool the bulbs. I am then going to switch to 12/12 when the plant gets high enough. Then maybe 1 or 2 of my seeds will be females
Hopefully. I lucked out that my first grow was female. This time I hope I somehow get 2.
The seeds I am using are some dank seeds from some great bag bud I got last week. You only need a little bit and your stoned so I am going to try it. The seeds are fat little fuckers. Ill put pics up too. Theyre probably not as big as some of your guys seeds that you ordered, but from a bag theyre okay.
Well Im going to take a picture of the grow area and the thing in the pic with those hangers, let me explain that. The bulbs that I have now I am going to affix them to the bottom of the hood that I made. The bulbs dont get too hot thankfully but I will line the cardboard with tinfoil to aleviate heat.
As the plant grows i can just raise the lights, im going to affix chains ot something to the hanger tops. When I get the spirals Ill just mount the fixture to the top and move the light bars to the sides for good light movement.
I am pretty excited and wanna have some dank ass bud in secret. I hate buying or asking for weed ;p
The first grow, the little plant was given to me. It was full of holes and was sick. I nursed it back to health to where it looked like the pros' stuff on here. I did pretty good. Then I overwatered it. I learned my lesson but my plant was stunted and started deteriorating. I flowered it and actually got it to bud. Was kind of a race against time trying to keep it alive and bud but I did.
For little buds they did get me high.. so I am anxious to get a bigger yield LOL. ;p Put my new casio 7.2 megapixel cam to use! Pics will be posted in a little bit.
