Inforce's Third Grow

K thanks to everyone who followed my old journal with my 3 plants that turned male This is my third effort, you know what they say. "Third time is
the charm!" So I am trying again. I didn't buy these lights to just give up. I have already established I can grow them.. now just hope I get at least one girl.

I am using 2 unidentified Chronic seeds that are very very fat. The strain is unknown, but the bud was 60 bucks for an eighth and was the real shit. Good genetics. Great mellow smoke. Can't wait to see how I do with them!

I will be using my 250 watt hps setup from HTGSupply.com as well as some cfl light bars and 42 watt cfl bulbs that I also bought. I may do CFL to start.. then HPS.. but I don't know yet.

Seeds right now are germinating in a paper towel in one of my cupboard in the kitchen. I will put pics up asap when the seeds crack.

To those who stuck by me, or lurked by me in my last journal, thanks for your support and criticism , I learned an awful lot. Hopefully this grow will be the one where I harvest at least an O of some great genetics! The last grow was bag seed, the main plant was 30 inches and the other two were 20 when I found out they were all males. Very depressing.. so maybe it's my turn for som sexy bud porn? Or... not? lol. I hope I get some, it's become more of a hobby than anything now. I love growing. It's as addicting as doing and receiving tattoos to me.

That would honestly make it more than worthwhile. I can't imagine what it would be like.. to have twice the amount of chronic... that is insane. We just smoked like 3 bowls of it , little ones, between 3 people, and we are hellllla ripped. The eighth I bought of these little nugs lasted like 5 days.

It would be so awesome to be able to rollllll a huge joint of this nice bud.

Just waiting on the seeds to crack. I decided to go with 3 high level genetic seeds rather than schwaggie. Will have pics, probably in less than 3 days. They are on the second day of germinating.

ok klkl where did you get the 3 high level genetic seeds ...ive heard of them but never seen any ....can you hit me up ..!!

Okay here are the pictures! They are doing splendid. Had to move them a tad closer so they get all the light, but I have 3 strong seedlings as well as one growing in a cup on the side. The one one on the side is purely an afterthought that I just don't have the room for. I will be putting that on 12/12 after only a few nodes. The others I will try and get the most out of. They seem healthy and strong.

The seeds came out of a bag of chronic I had a few weeks ago, I was so excited! Fat little seeds. Anyways heres the pictures from day 3.

I may not have had any females last time out of 3, but this time I am shooting for at least 1!

Thanks, my last grow bombed.. I know everyone tells me it always happens once in a while.. I didn't even get to smoke one nug.. they were all males.. throwing away a 30 inch plant and two 20 inchers just totally ruined me last time lol. But I picked mahself up and I am trying again!

Me and my fiance can't even imagine how cool its gonna be if we even get 1 chronic plant.. good bud, finally.

Sure I can buy it for 60 an eighth, but growing your own.. is more rewarding.

I know the grow area is messy, it will be cleaned up by tommorow LOL you guys like how the bucket is sitting on my amp box? ahah

Exactly bro! And in the end once you grow long enough you'll be spending less money on your dank dankyness ladies and getting more bud then if you grabbed it from the streets!

Yah thats kinda why I started this whole thing.. just to be safe. It's unreal how my state is with marijuana.. it's one of the worst. This way I hope I can get a sustainable amount of weed going for just personal. When we move outta this apartment I am going to get a more powerful HPS to grow a gang of plants. It would be unreal having like over a pound for personal.

I also wanna start growing tomatoes and herbs. I think maybe I will buy a small greenhouse to start when I move into a house. Need to be rainproof and able to have an hps inside it.. and not melt down lol. My current 250 hps doesnt get hot at all.. well the ballast does but I can't imagine how hot say a 600 would get. So anyone know any good sites to go to to see some good portable greenhouses?

I will post a few pics tommorow as they've grown a consederable amount since day 3..
The first 2 weeks are awesome because you leave the room and come back and boom they are another inch.

For water I am using a bucket and letting it sit out for 2 days between feedings which seems to make the water less harsh. Learned that from my first grow when my water would burn the leaves a bit. So now I take it safe.

As far as nutrients go I think I will wait till they are a few more inches and then start them ever 2-3 feedings a dose. I usually don't like to use nutes unless I have to because I am still a novice grower. This grow I will experiment with using some different nutes that you guys have reccomended to me like FoxBloom or whater else

So I have 3 plants in that 5 gallon bucket, and one in a 64oz plastic cup.. I am actually going to place the cup on 12/12 after its like 3 nodes. Just for fun because I don't have room for it in the bucket. Also with luck it may be a female in which case I believe I could string some additional veg time by going back to 24 on. Or I may cut and dry.

Thinking about this shit is getting my mouth watering! Oh and I forgot to mention I have 2 75watt cfl bars for some additional multispectrumed lighting to give the HPS more effectivness. I need to buy a spare bulb soon so I can keep growing in the event of this one going out. I mean I have backup cfls.. but not enough to keep it going very long..

Actually I was looking at going to and applying at a local hydroponic store personally so I can learn how to grow more things then just marijuana. ^.^

Green House pictures? Well, try this site. It sells supplies to build greenhouses, but you can start to get an idea from here or something, lol.

Pictures coming tonight! I decided to CFL them for a bit to get the Veg into some high gear and then when a few nodes come out of the bucket I will put back under the HPS. Theyre doing fantastic. Had some overcrowding so had to pull one, but I think the bucket will support 2. I will cut the bottom out if i have to to add 5 more gallons of dirt, just put one on top of the other.

Theyre going! Had a bad storm the other night so I had to place them under CFLS (thank god I saved my old setup!) - cuz i didnt wanna blow my new hps..

Anyways these are day 23. When should I start flowering? I was thinking when they are about 10-12 inches tall .. yah? I have that one 250 HPS and 2 45 watt
CFL's as well as 2 75 watt CFL bar tubes for plants. The plants are bushy as fuck.






well see, had some curling issues but they corrected themselves. Not sure what strain this is, any suggestions? It's chronic, very very smooth mellow almost fruity smoke. The leaves are very tough / thick and the stems are thick as hell. Seems to be growing a tad slow, however bushy as hell and its starting to pick up pace now.

Can anyone predict the yield I will get? It's day 23. So how long should I veg these for based off how they are growing now? Someone just give me the run down. I kinda want to start mollasses now that theyre well into the second month. Right?

You think that placing the 5 gallon bucket in another one with the bottom cut open in the first to give me 10 gallons or so of soil would be enough?
