Information on hermies

Hey my 2 plants have started making small pin prick size green seeds in the calyx they 6 weeks into flower about 2 3 weeks left according to breeder I have had a tester of the lower buds and gives a good high so the top buds must be better.so what happens now then I have checked both plants and not found one ball or nanner or anything unusual,there must of been one somewhere at some point to make this happen I'm going to check every few days now to see if the seeds in the calyx get any bigger if they do that means the plants feeding the seeds so does this affect thc in anyway or does the plant do both seed and make thc ? Would the quality of the bud now drop if I keep them going any help will be great

I had a hermie issue. I thought the entire plant colas the size of hand granades was trashed. I knifed the entire plant. Lucky me a branch stuck to the side of the pot. I found it months after my knife fight. It was dried and smoked great. I don't know a lot. I would just start drying it now. Its that or destroy it. Use what you can and grow more.

It will definitely not be as good as if it were with no seeds but if its just a personal batch I would finish out the cycle. It will still smoke good and get you high. Just won't be as potent as if could have been

IMO finish her out it will be just like bud back before we all got all pampered with seedless ladies (which are so delicious)

Or maybe some how a male got to your girls with out you knowing it in that case hope you get some good seeds for your next grow
And if she smokes good now she ll smoke much better later

I had one a while back and the seeds didn't grow anymore, it was roughly the same time as these plants now so I'm hoping that will happen again if the seeds don't grow will that mean thc is still being produced ?

It has happened to me many times. Don't panic I don't think its a Hermie. Its the plants way of trying to preserve itself. When its happened to me the tiny, green pin sized things never grew anymore. Harvest every time seedless. Grade a smoke. But just keeping checking for nanners and developing seeds. Do a google search and you'll see it happens a lot to a lot of us.

I agree.

I've vaped lower branch bud, and when you dump the bowl out you can see all the little pin-head seeds. They're the only thing that doesn't vape.

In my area I purchased bud in last few days and to my surprise it had tiny seed in it didn't effect the smoke tho.i am checking a calyx every few days to see if they have grown dies it effect thc if the grow then ?

If its the little miniature things we talked about then no. I had some ww auto by dinafem that did that and it was some of the best smoke I've ever had. But if it becomes full seeded then it'll affect it cause your girl will slow production of buds/THC and focus on reproduction/seeds.

Yeah tiny little green pods if u leave one dry it turns into little brown speck I'm checking her every few days to see if the seeds in the calyx get any bigger cheers for ya help mate
