Infused oil - How to

Hello fellow growers,

I have now harvested three plants in the last 4 weeks and i have kept the following:

- Stems, sugar leaves, fan leaves & trim in the freezer just after cutting.
- Dried branches from buds in a separate jar

Now i want to do something i never tried, which is infused oil and i would like to use all that i have.

Can somebody just give me the heads up on the general processes on how to go about it please.

Should i decarb the frozen fresh material? If yes, how?
what about the dried branches from the buds? Guess these do not need to be decarbed?

And then, which process to use to infuse.

Many thanks for all the help in advance!

I think what project is saying is that there are so many ways and budgets. I found g420's tek on this site and that's what I'm following although you have to invest about 600$ in equipment easily to get started. Before this I just used frozen media, canning jars, triple coffee filters, frozen iso alcohol, and evap from a pyrex dish I heated up with hot metal @ 110 deg F next to a window w/ fan blowing out. It made an ok extract but I know there was probably some iso left in it and if I made it thicker there was wax and it was pretty dark.

You only have to decarb if you aren't going to be vaping/dabing/smoking or otherwise heating it. You decarb for edibles and tinctures basically.

Have you tried google first ?
Yes i have but i have conflicting information as to the best way of doing it without professional equipment.

Maybe i formulated my question wrongly but what i basically wanted to know, was what is the best way to do it at home 'amateur' style with nothing else than some jars, stove, oven, filters.

And the second question for which i have conflicting answers is the decarboxylation.

I have 2 sets, dried branches from buds and fresh leaves / stems / trim in the freezer.
Do i actually need to decarb both (it seems if its dried already no need) and can i just toss the frozen plant material on my plate in the oven?

Thanks

Are you referring to infused vegetable oil?

I make infused Shea butter/Apricot oil blends for arthritis treatment. I make dewaxed BHO as the primary ingredient my vape cartridges and topicals. For topicals I decarboxylate by putting the oil into a round bottom flask and heat in oil bath 250C for 30 minutes. The decarboxylated oil dissolves readily in Shea Butter and Apricot oil.

My goal is a low odour product and this is why I used BHO as my base.
