@MelanieNagyCTV: Davey does say he had trouble with his first designated growers.He had issue with quality and trust when first trying to obtain his product.
I guess it's Judge Phelan in the courtroom. Ot Judge. Manson as previously reported.
@liftcannabis: @S_Comeau @adam_greenblatt @WC4Cannabis @Tamarijuana @HoneyInvesting Phelan, not Manson. Apologies.
@MelanieNagyCTV: At the next break, John Conroy will meet with media and give a statement about the case and proceedings so far.
@MelanieNagyCTV: Davey now being asked to describe the security that is in place to protect the building where his med-pot grown.Initial system cost $3,000.
@FarrahMerali: A few police officers are here keeping an eye on them. Lots of pot smoking happening #cbc http://t.co/Xlywz36GGR
I see the dog n pony show has started. This case is pretty much meaningless. Regardless of outcome the losing side is going to appeal. Then we wait for it to be heard by the supreme court. There will probably be a federal election by the time the supreme court even hears this case. What if Trudeau gets elected and enacts legalization (with personal production) before the supreme court comes to a decision? It will be the end of 2016 before there is actually any clear end to this I'm guessing.
@liftcannabis: Fed lawyer: Would you ever have a problem with Health Canada inspecting your facility? Davey: "No, come on over, come on over. Anytime."
