Sigh."The NDP want to decriminalize and let it just be a plant" What does that look like? I heard Mulcair say the NDP is for decriminalization so people aren't burdened with a criminal record for smoking marijuana. It will still be illegal and it will simply be a revenue stream for police forces and an intimidation tool for the cops. .
Jt is Harper in new clothes.Sigh.
Decriminalization, by its very definition, means criminal charges are removed. Therefore it's not a revenue stream for cops, because there is nothing they can arrest people for. So once again, you're just making nonsense up that anyone with a dictionary knows is wrong.
This is the problem with political party hacks of all kinds, you're no different than the typical Harper clone, which makes sense, since Justin is a Harper clone.
Decriminalization means paying a fine not going to jail.Sigh.

SIGH! Put down the bong and think before you bitch out somebody's post. Here is the definition of decriminalization. It's American, but same shit different pile. Read the whole article at the link below if you want...and then comment, Using your own reasoning, it would appear Mulcair is the 'Harper clone'.Sigh.

I don't agree with you with being forced to buy lp shit. I think with legalization comes the right to grow your own. No different from booze or smokes...with exceptions for plant counts for medical use.LP's will continue to grow for both markets, giving government their tax windfall and pleasing their corporate masters. Whether or not that is what they have in mind is yet to be seen, but we keep up the fight if they don't get it right.Decriminalization means paying a fine not going to jail.
A fine or ticket is an immediate revenue source.
There really is no perfect candidate either way. If jt wins everyone will be expected to buy mass produced lp shit and if the ndp wins every time a cop smells weed his dick will get hard and he pulls his ticket book out.
So you think jt wants to legalize it because he thinks its unfair for people to have to spend money?I don't agree with you with being forced to buy lp shit. I think JT wants to legalize because as a user he understands how ridiculous the laws are. He wants to take away the profits to organized crime and reduce the strain on police and the courts. The tax money will come from those who can't or choose not to grow. Like I said it's legal to grow tobacco and make your own booze, yet they are huge tax revenue sources for governments because the vast majority choose to buy from a retailer. Tax revenue for governments can happily coexist with freedom to grow your own.So you think jt wants to legalize it because he thinks its unfair for people to have to spend money?
Its a cash cow. Thats the only reason any politician has ever considered legalization. Tax revenue.
No one cares about people or patients they care about money.
Legalization will create tens of millions a yr to "help the budget balance itself"
I highly doubt that they (the gov/hc) will ever want anyone to be able to just grow if they want. I hope your right tho
Harper LiteJt is Harper in new clothes.
People always forget obama is half white.Harper Lite
actually he seems like a white obama, if that's possible
I would say that the main reason a politician considers legalization is because he or she would get more votes. So you think jt wants to legalize it because he thinks its unfair for people to have to spend money?

Just the good halfThats weird...I thought he was half black
well that remains to be seen..i doubt it ..but yes he did vote for c51..not that voting against bit would have mattered..statisticallyI've always made sense. It's just that everyone else is finally starting to realize I was right about Trudeau being a baby Harper.
but Justin is and was in favour of C-51...that crosses him off my list."The NDP want to decriminalize and let it just be a plant" What does that look like? I heard Mulcair say the NDP is for decriminalization so people aren't burdened with a criminal record for smoking marijuana. It will still be illegal and it will simply be a revenue stream for police forces and an intimidation tool for the cops. He has said nothing about repealing the mandatory minimums for growing or selling. Mulcair is determined to maintain control of the plant. The only change will be a fine instead of conviction for simple possession and in reality, how often does that happen anyway. Trudeau has said legalization...huge difference, IMO. I'm sure there will be corporate players (there already are) and a tax scheme put in place, just like every other commodity there is a demand for, but like every other legal product, you are free to grow your own...tax exempt. If you are coming at this from a grower/seller angle, I would still count on the Liberals being my best choice. That said, I am in the 'anybody but Hitler' camp and chances are we will have a minority gov. so we can push for the changes we want as the party that wins will want to please.
