inline fan setup

just wondering if it would work like this? cant have the fan in the tent gotta have it outside the closet the tent is in. growing in a 3x3 tent 400 watt hps 6" 400 cfm inline fan on speed controller

try the fan and filter outside thats how i have mine :)

thats what i as gonna do but everyone i talked to on here told me not to blow through the filter

The carbon filter can go either way.
I Perfer to have my carbon being sucked through not pushed through.
Anyways to the OP, yes thats fine :)
