Insane L.E.D Setup???

My "Friend" Recently went crazy and bought the following from HTGsupply Trusting their products stick to their word. He got a 120W TRIBAND LED, A 90W TRIBAND UFO , A high power 50W Red Booster , and a high power 50W Blue booster ( for seedlings, Germ)

Does anyone think 270W's of TRIband LED light is not enough to produce some Think ass buds during flowering? Should my friend invest in a small 150W HID light just to supplement any lost spectrum light or will the insane amount of high tech LED light be enough?... No flames please i have seen these leds work in journals

Go read on how to supplement the leds correctly. You do not need an hps to do that.

Their products are not as good as their word. It is practically a scam... but hell, he was the one who was willing to extrapolate their claims into this particular niche of horticulture... He and you really bought it though. Hook line and sensimilla.

You need a lot of light to do good things, so you will probably only be able to "fully" flower a couple of plants with those lights.

Good luck though. I don't know how good leds are for a persons first grow...

This is not an insane amount of light.

Just insane maketing and pricing.

i seen a thread with sum 1 growin 21 plants under 2 90 watt ufo leds... do a search on riu ...peace
