...I want to know what songs bring up memories whenever you hear them. You know, when you hear a song, and sometimes it just reminds you of time in your life, or sometimes it reminds you of a specific event?
YouTube - Slow Train Coming - 08 Man Gave Names to All the Animals
YouTube - Slow Train Coming - 01 Gotta Serve Somebody
Or Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl, Wild Night...
Those songs all remind me of when I was young and I used to go on a lot of family trips with my grandparents. I remember vividly sitting in the middle of the back seat, talking with my grandparents, listening to those songs.
Or YouTube - Fleetwood Mac - Rhiannon always reminds me of a night when my cousin sung part of the song with one of my sillier nicknames in place of Rhiannon.
YouTube - Anna Nalick - Breathe (2AM) Whenever I hear that song, I'm reminded of when I worked at Barnes&Noble, because it was a promo CD we played a lot. Sometimes when I hear it, I actually feel like I'm back there, working on the shelves...
So anyone else? I'm more interested in this than what you're listening to right now, because you can like and listen to a LOT of music, but not all of it actually leaves a mark on your life, you know?
