Question for the indoor growers. Should my intake fan run at all times or should it cycle like my exhaust fan is setup to do?
Your two fans should run in sync.
Is your tent inflating/bulging and blasting out smell?
I've got this right you fan blowing in (intake fan?

My tent is inside a larger closet with an intake fan thermo controlled by inkbird drawing from a filtered crawlspace...balanced speed wise with the exhaust fan. They only run when lights are on.

What do you do when the light is off?

Yes the tent baloons out until the exhaust kicks in then it sucks in but the smell is clean coming out

A monkey fan is on 24/7 for air movement. The only issue I've had is high humidity during summer which I finally alleviated with a de-humidifier. BTW...I run all my plants, auto and photo on 12/12...have for 15 years...

Never a problem with rot....Yep. totally aware of rh and how to control it. Air movement is key with exhaust off. May be wrong to some but it's right for me.
