Intake fan & carbon filter exhaust fan setup

I currently have a 1.2 grow tent with a carbon filter & exhaust fan set up..with the ducting connected to a vent hole in the wall blowing the hot air outside..but my plants keep getting leaf curl which is obviously to do with the environment they're in..so what I'm planning doing is buying an intake fan & ducting and cutting a whole in the door of the room that the tent is in and connecting the ducting to the hold I'm gonna cut in the door..so it's not pulling air in from the room that the tents but pulling air in from hallway in my house..would this make a significant difference helping make the environment better for my plants? Here are some pics so you have a better understanding..

cool the air in the room ,

or get a cool tube
How would i go about cooling the room? Apart from getting a cool tube as I planned on getting Y piece ducting connector an connecting it to the intake fan an have it blowing cool air into 2 separate tents

Air conditioner
The price of a air conditioner that's decent enough would cost waaaayyy more than buying an intake fan.. the room that my tents are in is always on cool anyway it's inside the tent that's hot..so the air conditioner would have to go in there which means I'd have to but 2 which would be proper expensive whereas I could get 6 inch intake fan for £70

Carbon filter - exhaust fan - sealed hood - exhaust outside. If the room is cool like you say then opening the bottom vents and using passive air should be enough. Depends on the lighting you're using and the heat generated. If the hallway isn't significantly cooler than the room the tents are in it won't make much of a difference to pull air from there.

Cheers for the info mate, I'm running a 600w dual spec hps. Yeah the hallway is a lot lot cooler plus there's always windows open where the hallway is

I'm going to go with the air cooled good like you said..I think that's the best option..also il be able to have the light a lot closer won't I? Which surely means quicker and better growth? Whereas now I have to keep it 4ft above canopy

More light or closer light doesnt equal more or better growth.

The plant can only handle so much light.

It all depends on its stage of life.

Google light burn. It happens to me still.
I've just been looking on Google and the leaf curl pretty much sounds like wind burn.. because my mini fans are blowing directly over the plants at about 2 foot above them.. but someone on here told me they should be directly blowing over them? Even with the light being at the very top of the tent an temps around 23-25 My plants still get lead curl..does this sound like wind burn to You?

it aint heat stress. Its either light stress (light to close), wind burn a nutrient problem or root rot.
Fan should not be directly blowing on them constantly.
