Well at this point it doesn't matter if China stops their lockdown because the virus has already gone global. Despite all the warnings from experts the United States sat on it's ass. We kept hearing that it was nothing more than a common cold, we had plenty of tests, nothing to worry about, etc... We could have been ahead of this but we had a massive failure from the top. Now all the top want to do is point fingers, blame others, and refuse to take responsibility for sleeping at the wheel. We wouldn't have stopped it because it was already here likely soon after the first cases in China but we could have initiated enhanced screening and testing like South Korea did. They're testing more people in a day than we have since this started. Heck, the United States couldn't even come up with a reliable test even though other countries have. The governors from various states have done more than the federal government because our current administration is clueless and has people in positions that are not qualified and are clueless. They were appointed strictly because they are kiss asses and are loyal to the moron. Rex Tillerson was 100% correct when he used that term to describe the narcissist in charge.Something to bare in mind.
Italy in the space of 10 days during lock downs etc have 21k confirmed cases and +800 deaths.
We can’t stop this, just like we can’t stop the common influenza virus.
This virus will be around for at least another 3-6 months.
The chances are once China stop their lockdown they’re all going to reinfect and start again with it.
The whole point of this is to see how modern life responds to a crisis. Whether it be a war or a more serious virus/event.Anybody remember all the bird flu or swine flu hype? This is that again but mega-hyped up with social media.
There are many getting so rich off this 'crisis'
Major snore here in northern Alberta. We're all laughing about it and life goes on like it always have. There are no shortages of anything and I've talked to the managers of all our local businesses and they aren't concerned so neither am I.

So?The whole point of this is to see how modern life responds to a crisis. Whether it be a war or a more serious virus/event.
How people spend time in quarantine and of course all the data you get too.
Do you believe the cartoon you post or should we laugh?
