Interesting leaf issue - 1.5 weeks into flower

Light has been raised significantly.

Letting the pot dry out.

Have a fan moving air underneath the canopy.

Intend to use about 5ml of calmag per gallon of water when I water again which will be on the weekend after everything dries up.

Gotta get this issue corrected. Hoping she doesn’t die on me.

ull be ok bud, what is the PPMs ur at right now? Watch with adding alot of Cal in flower, because around week 4, u want to actually eliminate it all together, and shift to just mag till flush.

and what is the N value in the calmag, if it 2-0-0, its very possible you have nit toxicity, which i think you have, because of the bad under leaf.

Your only using 186 watts, which really means, your PPMs of Nutes going in right now should be no more then 200PPMs a week, if you can believe that.

So, now with that line of thinking, If 5ML of that calmag is 300PPM, your already in the danger zone of over feeding.

F-w-w-w-F if you can, if your pots take a week to dry out, then F/half-F/half so about 125PPM per feeding.

The calmag I have is a 2-0-0. You are correct on that.

I haven’t introduced any flower nutrients yet. But based on what you are saying I should probably grab some magnesium only to be adding after week 4?

Alright. I guess I’m gonna let everything dry out and slowly start feeding in a week or two.

wow, no nutes yet? nice, but now evidently it needs some, but yeah, i think you just gave to much calmag.

just always keep in mind man, Little watts-little nutes,

if you have a PPM meter, make another batch of your 5ml and see what the PPMs are if you can log them here,

She did get veg nutes. Just no flower. And yeah I was probably overdoing the calmag with the watering. May have been almost every other day kept topping it off. Don’t know why I was doing that. Ppm meter don’t currently have one. I did. But it hasn’t been calibrated in over 10 years and the ph readings were faulty on it to even after calibration for that. Was a combo one. I am getting flower nutes this weekend though and plan to add once everything gets dried up.

Am I only over watering issue or is it mag too?

I know my pot dries quicker in the veg tent. But that’s because of the 400 watt MH I believe.

Plant did have a tad of light burn from the veg tent. Was growing on my Mh bulb. Got too big.

This plant ain’t dead is it? I have a few moron buddies claiming its dead and never gonna bounce back. Need to mention their experience is minimal to none.
If your plants are heavy and waterlogged, or sitting in run-off, it means they can't absorb nutrients. That's why waterlogged plants get so many micro-nutrient issues like copper, iron, mag deficiencies. Cal-mag deficiencies are just usually the first to rear their ugly heads. So don't use any more supplements until the soil has properly dried.

No, the plant isn't dead. If the stalks of your plants are dying from the bottom up they're goners. That's really the only way I can tell a plant is for sure going to die. If they don't dry out by themselves quickly, you might have to cut the fabric pots with a razor knife around the middle and re-plant the bottom half in some dryer soil. They might get worse before they get better though. From my experience, the heavily affected leaves are probably going to die. The same shit has happened to me.

If you haven't done this already, especially for 5-gallon+ pots you need to take your finger and scoop out about 2" deep of soil along the top edge of the pot making a moat and mound that dirt around the center or just take it out. Create a mound higher in the center. Now when you feed it won't collect in the middle. It will feed the periphery where the water needs to go. Not only that but it promotes outward root growth.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

I’m just gonna wait it out. Do nothing. Let everything dry out. I truly appreciate it. Was my first ever SCROG as well. Gonna jump on nutrients soon once everything is dried out and some regular watering is completed.

I think my buddy just wants me to fail. Kept saying I was lucky to get an ounce of that scrog to begin with. Instead of offering support he’s just saying I’m failing. Lol.

Plus, that looks like a big plant for the number of watts you're using. Going from 400wMH to 186wLED is a little strange.

Don't worry your buddies just jealous that you had the balls to try. I got a friend like that too always giving me shit for growing it in the back yard especially previous years and always the first guy with his hand out when harvest time comes. I am sure everything will turn out fine

It’s about 185 true watts. The light I’m using are LED strip build. Bridgelux gen 2 not like your traditional blurples.

Reason why the plant was so big is because it vegged for about 4 months as I was building my light.

I’m using a MH for veg cause that’s my old set up from ‘09 and trying to phase it out for only LED.

Thats heat and a mag issue. Flush with ph water, exhaust hot air or put extra fan and add calmag.

There you go.
You can tank me later noob bongsmilie

Pot is drying up. First inch or so is dry. So now it’s just a waiting game.

Humidity is around 50% give or take.
