I USED THE BEST MH I COULD GET MY NUBS ON, HORILUX SUPER BLUE I THINK IT WAS. SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE BEST SPECTUM AND KEEP INTERNODES SHORT RIGHT?

MY INTERNODES SEEM TO BE WAY SEPERATED, I SEE SOME OF YOUR PICS AND IT LOOKS LIKE LEAVES ARE JUST STACKED ONE ON THE OTHER.

I CAN FIT 3 TO 4 FAT FINGERS IN THE SPACES BETWEEN MY NODES!

WHAT KIND OF SPACING ARE YOU GETTING AND HOW CAN YOU GET THEM CLOSER TOGETHER?

Lol, it was just a little joke.

My nodes are spaced very tight. Maybe 3/4" apart. I believe two things are at work here:

1. Genetics. Some strains grow tall faster than others. Some are much more squat and bushy.
2. Light. I keep my 400 HPS at 8"-9", I have a big fan pulling air through the hood. I think that contributes to the tights nodes too.

How close do you have your light?

18 To 24 Inches. I Guess Thats A Little Far. Ive Read Like 5 Books From Cervantes And Every One Else And They Say 18 To 24 Inches But Ever Since I Started Practicing The Art Of Grow, Those Books Just Dont Give That Good A Info.

Ease it down. I start mine at 24" as seedlings and then work in down over a few-three weeks. Just watch out for heat coming off that lamp and go slow.

Come on guy, no need to get your panties in a bunch. Chances are you're growing a sativa, or sativa dominant strain. They won't have nodes as tight as some of the indica's you see in peoples pics.:hump:

Your nugs wll be fine if you can handle the height. Maybe search the forums for LST (Low Stress Training) to help.

Hmmm, Never Heard Of It. The Space Isnt A Problem Tho. Its Just Discouraging To See These Little Balls Of Pistals So Far Apart, You Want Them To Grow Together Right? They Got A Long Way To Go. I Am Using Co2 Tho So They Better Chub Up Pretty Good, I Figure In The Next 6 Weeks I Should See Some Pretty Interesting Changes.

I Have 2 Phenos, And The Nice Short Stocky Ones Are Only 20% Of The Entire Batch. I Have 4 Of Those And 20 Of Those Super Leggy Ones. Im Sure They Will Produce, But Dam This Flowering Stage Is Frusterating. Ive Got A Papya And A Blue Mystic, Both Nirvana, And They Are A Couple Weeks Older But They Are Bushey Couse I Veged Em For 2 Months, But They Are Loading Up With Some Donkey Dicks! Top Colas Like 8 To 12 Inches Long And As Fat Around As An Orange In Spots! I Have To Get At Least An Ounce Out Of Each Plant For This To Be Successful, Ive Dropped Hella Cheese On This Grow!

to keep internode space close, give no N 1 week before and 3 weeks into flowering, keep the night and day temps as close as possible, and keep your light as close as possible.:peace:
