I believe parallel, but let somebody with more knowledge confirm my answerHello, can anyone help? I just ordered a meanwrll hlg 120 48a to power 2 cree3590's. Do I wire it in series or parallel to this driver? Thank you for your help.

Parallell otherwise you would need around 72 volts or so to run in series. Think your driver will run in CC mode to as well as CV, thats a nice feature for limiting the voltage....Hello, can anyone help? I just ordered a meanwrll hlg 120 48a to power 2 cree3590's. So in case you were wondering...you will pull around 1250mA's of current and voltage will vary slightly with temp etc....Good luck!Cool. Thank you guys for the quick response. I thought since the output is 48 v @2.5 amps, i would want to split the current by parallel. Thanks again. I ordered it off cobkits, on sale.
i remember @Greengenes707 talking one time that he thought strong blue was as good as uv for that purpose. in which case those blue 455 nm cobs might be handy as wellDo you think those 5700k 90cri could be used like a finishing chip with a huge blue spike a little uv-a?
EDIT: I know the uv-a is like nothing but its interesting to see that on a cob
Really trying to follow all of this and learn as fast as I can So i can get something built. Lost half of my lights my last grow so not sure what Im gonna do lol. I like the cutter kits but seeing so much positive feedback on the citizen chips. Losing 1k of watts pretty much going to stop me in my tracks a bit hope I can keep my mother small enough till then lol.
For larger rooms which chip are most of you going with? I see alot using the 1212 but seeing I need to cover a 6.5x6.5 I was thinking about the 1825's to get more wattage out of the chips. Still bouncing between kit vendors though. I guess I need to bite the bullet at some point though.
correct (for now)Order them on the site then. I don't think he's doing anymore custom orders on the light engines, but I could be wrong. I ended up ordering all the parts from him and I'll assemble them myself
Thanks for the reply. So here is what I am thinking.you can go a lot of ways. i have 9 1825 @ 75W each in a 4.5x5 that works fantastic for me. 16 of those would cover your space nicely
I emailed a couple months ago and talked to you once in Dec lol.correct (for now)
first come first served on the site. i tried to email anyone who had been buggin me befre i made the general announcement so hopefully people get what they need
If youre vegging as well 4000k isnt a bad choiceI emailed a couple months ago and talked to you once in Dec lol.
When I go to the site the 3500k 1212's and 1818's are out of stock. Can I place an order on back order?
I see you have em in 4000k is that still a good range for a whole grow start to harvest?
as it says on the site, assemblies take time. im working on them now i have 65 to build, they should all ship in next few daysbeen over 18 days since i ordered my cxm's and still no delivery date in sight.........................wtf?
Yep will be doin the whole grow under theses. If youre vegging as well 4000k isnt a bad choice
got my thermal pads last night, thanks for the quick ship cobertoas it says on the site, assemblies take time. im working on them now i have 65 to build, they should all ship in next few days
Order received couple of weeks agoemail me, everything should be out
arrived today will update site this evening. chip/small part only orders go out in 1-2 days depending on which day of the week they are ordered. add another day or two for heatsink orders, these take a long time to pack and get shuffled to the backWas curious when you'll get in 90 cri 3500k 1212s also what is the shipping time like for us orders
i figured you needed some pads asap lolgot my thermal pads last night, thanks for the quick ship coberto
