Before I even start, Let me thank NoDrama, hom36rown, GrowTech, russ0r, and want_my_ink for answering my previous questions in this forum; without helpful(and tolerant) members like you, I would've given up.

From a newbie's perspective, you can never have enough step-by-step threads, so if anything, I hope other people can get something out of this. I'm using a small space in my closet for one clone(for now, don't feel like killing multiple things with my inexperience), it's about 2' X 2.5' X 5'8.

For now, though, I'm growing in a Rubbermaid box to use the effectiveness of the lights. The lights are 4 26-Watt CFLs which produce 6240 lumens. I've lined everything with mylar, including the box. The clone is about 3 1/2 inches tall.

Sorry about the photos, I only have a camera phone for now.

The leaves are kind of sinking, but I'm guessing it's because the clinic I bought the clone from overwatered the poor thing. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I have to make sure that I. Don't. Touch. Leaves seem to have sunk even more, but I doubt it's heat stress...the CFLs aren't hot, and if they were, I have a fan blowing cool air right next to it.

Have you tried giving the leaves a little misting? If it itsn't an overwatering issue, she might perk up.

No, I haven't, but I'll see how my baby's doing when I get back home. Thanks for the suggestions!

my bad, how long have they been out of water? do you think the time it took to get them home and drop em in rockwool could have done that? an hour out of water would make them droopy, make sure that rockwool is wet

Temperature is ok, nothing extremely hot...I'm getting a thermostat today, though.

The clinics have them already in rockwool when you purchase them, and it was thoroughly moist when I purchased the clone. Trust me, I would love to mist and water the hell out of this plant, but again, the whole over-watering issue comes up. Is there another factor to look for besides droopy leaves?

dude, you seriously need a thermometer, this is what i learned and many people have told me, as an early clone, it feeds through its leaves, the water in the rockwool is for formation the roots, until you got a nice root system going, it will not be bringing up nutes thru the stems, right now the plant is focused on the root system, so in essence, you need to mist like 2 times a day, me personally i have been havin great results this way///they also like humidity, you see, the exposed rockwool will dry out fast if in direct light, as opposed to having the clone in a dome, thus keeping moisture in and having to mist the roots less////get a therm and a mondi dome and tray, dont be afraid to mist her leaves atleast once a day, she will be good to go, what strain is she?

EDIT: Just realized mondi domes are relatively cheap, lol.

Oh wow, thanks for the quick reply!

Yeah, I should've gotten the thermometer the first day...as for the mondi dome, is there a cheaper alternative? People are saying to leave a pan of water next to the plant, will that be somewhat effective?

The strain is OG Kush.

DAY 2: Already messing up.

My plant is sagging...guess it's not over-watering...

Rockwool was dry, so I watered it for the first time today. Threw in a pan of water, too. I'm praying for the homegirl.

Thanks, much appreciated. I'm starting to wonder if it's not enough oxygen...any other suggestions are more than welcome.

an alternative for the dome would be making something using saran wrap or clear celofane...as for ov erwatering, i dont think its possible to over water a clone, since you can have the stem sit in a cup of water and let it root that way...it must be the heat bro, check the temps asap

thats definitly your issue, keep that rockwool wet!, if it was a seedling you would want moist, trying to root a clone, you need to saturate that bitch, if its outside of a dome i would saturate it 2 times daily at the minimium, be liberal with the water, your not gonna harm her at this stage, those ROOTS NEED ALL THE WATER, dont forget what i said earlier, outside of a dome it will dry up fast since its so close to the light, using celofane type construction will keep it damp, just go to any nursery and get that dome and tray
