I'm a new grower and I have a few questions about how to proceed with my very first plant.
I'll start with all the info that I have available for my plant.
If I'm posting in an incorrect section feel free to move this thread to the correct one.
Unknown strain.
Indoor (closet)
Age: 18-19 days old.
soil:
new
Ph unknown
Compost 30%
Rabbit humus 10%
Californian earthworm humus 15%
Pearlite 20%
Vermiculite 20%
Peat 10%
Lighting:
HPS LAMP 400w
16 inches away from top leaves.
18 hs on 6hs off
Watering:
Tap water exposed to air for 48 hours.
Ventilation:
Two 6 mm coolers
100mm fan at plant's direction 5 inches away only when light is on.
I will now number the questions I have and hopefully you'll be able to answer.
I know that some of them may be already answered if that's the case I apologize beforehand.
1) I would like the opinion of any experienced grower on the current state of my plant
(you might see an overwatering symptom wich has been solved already)
2) Can darkened tips be asociated with overwatering?
3) I noticed a small irregularity in one or two of the leaves is this some kind of symptom or is just the way the plant looks?
4) What are the max and min distances I can place the lamp from the plant in order to mantain steady grow but not to burn the leaves?
5) According to height and age does this plant has a normal growth rate?
6) Any advice you may think I'll need for growing?
