Iponic ballast got any good review ?

was about to buy for 300 a cooled hood with a 600w hps/mh grow light kit revaolt ballast
but i just saw a 1000w hps/mh iponic grow light kit for 50 $ less

i heard good stuff about revolt about rf cooling and they are fanless

haven't used either but the Iponic looks like a Ipower ballast just painted. Most of the ballast are made in china at the same factory just a different label. have heard good things about both and bad. guess it just luck of the draw if you get a good one. check out the Apollo ballast systems on E-bay too their pretty good also, not top of the mind you, but that's your decision.

ipower isnt that bad or ?? asking caus ei dont want a ballast who make RFI and got some annoying flaw

no have heard Ipowers are quiet(rfi) but like anything sometimes you can get a bad one too. I guess the main thing is make sure the warranty is good and they stand behind it for which ever one you get. I've been looking for my next light too and like most budget is a big factor plus well i'm just cheap LoL. found a 600 watt system on e-bay at mega-low-mart for about 138usd with free shipping. its got a cooling fan in it which I'm not sure I'd like, but reviews I've found on it give it a good rating. and that's 138 with yo-yo's timer bulbs and cool tube. you can choose what size ballast 400-600-1000,what reflector and how many bulbs

well i heard good stuff about gotham hydro with there revolt ballast i think il go for that seem the guy there does a great custom service

sadly for me a lot of grow kit oout there arent available to me aince im in canada or they cost a leg in shipping well il ge tmine soon and tell you how it goes
